Seven Years Passed

The survivors of Tenrou Island

"We cant go back there, what if the dragon comes back-" Spoke a worried Lahar as Mest slammed his fist into the side of the boat.
"But what if there is survivors? We have to check, if we dont we will be leaving them to perish like the whole island!" Mest roared
"Remember, you were only there to be undercover Doranbolt-"
"I dont care! We are checking for survivors, steer back to the island!" Doranbolt roared as the ship did a 180 turning to start investigating the ruins of Tenrou which there was seemingly none, however they werent the only ones checking the rubble.

"We have to check to see if any of them survived, come on Ultear surely you can reverse time on the island to make it reappear right?!" A frantic Meredy spoke as Ultear was concentrating in her mind.
"Im trying...Im trying...found something!" Ultear spoke as she quickly activated her lost magic, bringing forth a floating slab of rock with four unconscious people laying there on the rubble; Two with blue hair, one with white and one with Pink "The magic council has turned around and are heading this way, they will pick up the survivors." Ultear spoke as she started rowing away once more, despite the desperate screams of Meredy.

"...Tsu...NATSU!" a teary scream penetrated the dragon slayers ears as slowly light started filtering through his shut eyelids, opening to see Lisanna strauss, covered in wounds, hovering over him in a wooden structure.
"Calm down girl, he has to recover some more." An elderly womans voice scolded as a pink haired healer moved the injured Lisanna so she was in front of Natsu Dragneel.
"Are you in there kid, you need to hear the news." She softly spoke as the pink haired dragon slayer sat up to see he was in the guilds infirmary.
As the dragon slayer looked around his eyes spotted Juvia crying in the corner with Levy having a brave face on despite having tears streaming down her face, apart from those two and the previously mentioned no one else was in the infirmary.
"Where is everyone?" The son of Igneel slowly spoke, a croaky voice escaping his mouth before he was hugged by Lisanna who was also crying her eyes out.
"They're gone kid...killed by the brutal and merciless Acnologia. You would've been among the casualties if not for the rocks you were floating on." Porlyusica spoke, objective as ever but with a subtle hint of sadness in her voice.
"You...you're kidding me, She is lying isnt she Lisanna?" Natsu asked as tears started filling Natsu's eyes as well, slowly realising why the girls were crying.
"I lost Mira...Elfman...Master Makarov...even Happy didn't make it." Lisanna cried as a look of anger filled the crying eyes of the Fire mage.
"I'll kill him...I'll kill that dragon for taking away my family!" Natsu roared in anger and sadness before he was hit over the head with a book by the Healing mage.
"You cant do that! That dragon cannot be stopped and if he killed every one of the S class mages and Makarov you have no chance of beating him!" Porlyusica scolded with anger "You wont end up like the rest of them!"
"What do you suggest I do then? Wail in pity as I wait for the dragon to come finish us off as well?!" Natsu retorted, more and more anger filling his every fiber of his being.
"Dont abandon your guild...protect the rest of your family and get stronger because right now you might just be the strongest member of Fairy Tail they have left!" The healer shouted as she took a deep breath and sighed "Im sorry kid...but you cant die like that old fool did..." Porlyusica finished before she headed to the door.
"Walk up to the main hall when you are ready to." The healer finished before heading off leaving the crying guild members who survived the attack on Tenroujima.
"Natsu..." Lisanna cried as the dragon slayer hugged his childhood friend back.
"I just got you back...and now I lost everyone else...this isnt fair." Natsu cried as the two hugged it out.

After a solid hour of crying Natsu found himself devoid of any tears left, still broken though he got off of the medical bed and knelt down near Levy and Juvia looking with sorrow in his eyes. "I wont let anything happen to you guys like it did to everyone else..." Natsu spoke as he brought the two Blunettes into a hug which Lisanna joined in "We have to survive for them, if we dont then Fairy Tail is over and we wont have a chance to fight back." Natsu softly spoke.
"Gray-sama is gone..." Juvia stuttered as she hugged back the group.
"He may be gone...but we have to protect his home- our home, in his memory." Natsu spoke as Levy nodded.
"For Gray, Lucy and everyone else we lost in the battle." Levy piped up.
"For Mira, Elfman and happy." Lisanna joined in.
"For Gramps, Gildarts and Erza...we will survive for them." Natsu finished them off as the four mages stumbled to their feet, hand in hand the quartet slowly made their way up the stairs to face what remained of their family
