His heart broke into pieces at the sound of her whimpers on the other end of the door. After searching everywhere outside for Lauren, and inside the house after calling her name, he knew she had to be in the one guest room that had it's door closed.

He didn't knock on it yet, nor called her name. He could hear her trying to keep quiet once she heard his footsteps get closer. The fact that she remained quiet so that he wouldn't find her in there shattered his heart.

After running off in a blur from their altercation, Lauren went back inside the house using the front door in hopes they would assume she ran down the street with nowhere to go. She was barefoot with no phone nor her keys. After quickly searching everywhere for her things, she found them in his bedroom just when she could hear both Trey and April return inside the house downstairs.

His shouts of her name caused her to take her things and quietly find a place to hide, unsure of what to do and how to get away from him. They played a game of hide and seek, with Lauren discreetly roaming from furniture to furniture, closet to closet, to avoid him.

She finally found herself in a small guest room downstairs, this time closing the door quietly and locking it. The simple gesture of locking the door caused her to sigh heavily in relief, although it was only for a small temporary relief.

Her tensed body finally relaxed now that she was in a locked room, causing her to release in silent cries. She was pregnant and her small moment of slight happiness was ruined within minutes by Trey's revelation that she met with Aubrey briefly, resulting in the two of them reaching a point of no return.

They used their powers on each other and she never thought she'd see the day. Her anger had her in a state of mind that she can't, for the life of her, figure out why she was even upset with him to begin with; almost as if she didn't intentionally mean it.

Her heightened senses, that seemed to have developed overtime with the use of her powers, picked up Trey's footsteps from afar, causing her to quickly reach her mouth with her hand to silent her cries. She was oblivious to the fact that her other hand went straight to her abdomen.

If it wasn't for her senses, she would've known he was close by the aching pain in her abdomen and her regrowing headache.

She was pregnant by a man that her body seemed to dislike when he was near, bringing anguish and pain at a faster pace lately. The idea caused more sadness, her returning cries turned into whimpers as she held her mouth harder and tried her hardest not to be heard.

She quickly calmed herself down, holding her breath as she realized it was pure silence on the other end of the door. She could feel him there, but he was quiet.

"Lauren." He finally spoke on the other end. "Renny, let me fix this."

She refused to respond, hoping he'd assume she wasn't in the room as he thought.

"Ren, I'm sorry. I don't know what's gotten over me. Open the door.....please." He begged, this time his forehead pressed against the door.

He sighed into the door. "Baby, I'm so sorry. I don't care about that nigga, the text, or anything else right now." She could hear the sincerity in his voice, but she was too overwhelmed with what just transpired to budge.

She pulled her hand up that held her phone and keys, slowly tilting her phone up to not make the keys move in her hand. She went to her messages and read Aubrey's latest text, realizing that was the culprit.
