"If you go upstairs, use the second one at the end of the hall. It's Eddie's, but he's out of town so its cleaner." Devahn directed Lauren before she couldn't help but notice Sarai, who sunk back down in her spot on Devahn's lap as her eyes peered at Lauren above the rim of the cup.
"Make it snappy." Sarai mouthed. She knew what both Trey and Lauren were capable of doing, which she was all for compatibility but she wasn't a fan of cheating. She could only blame her self from time to time for even introducing them, hoping that everything would be casual.
Once she climbed the stairs, the volume and base of the music began to soften and the capacity around her as well, where she didn't feel so congested anymore.
She pushed the bathroom door open and found Trey sitting on the sink, concentrated on his phone. "Yes, you're heiness?" She asked. He smirked, closing the door behind her and locking it.
"I like how that sounds." He joked, watching her roll her eyes while leaning against the wall across from where he sat while fixing a few strands of her hair, using her reflection in the mirror behind him. "Just hiding from someone." He answered her next unvoiced question.
"It's that bad?" She laughed, crossing her arms.
"Is it? She kills me sometimes. Ruins my high." She watched his legs hang from the countertop, his feet placed comfortably into the Jordans he wore that complimented his royal blue v-neck sweater, exposing his white undershirt. "So, Lauren," He began, ready for a conversation that he was waiting to have with her for the past week. "how do you know about the Baphomet?" He folded his arms across his chest, observing her expression and her body language.
"Out of interest." She shrugged. "I don't really follow a specific religion that it's related to, if that's what you're asking."
"Not really. I don't care if you do." He replied sharply. "Just surprised that you were even aware of it. Threw me off guard for a bit."
"You ever get a feeling where you have to know everything?" Her eyes narrowed as her head tilted to the side.
"Everyday." He replied immediately, his eyes stuck on her attentively.
"That's what led me to it." Instead of replying he just stared at her, making her uncomfortable as her eyes darted around the bathroom to avoid the complex aroma. "So, is that why everyone calls you what they call you?"
"What? Satan's son?" He laughed at the insult that he hears through gossip, causing her to join his laugh. "When I got with Alexia, that was just the excuse everyone was waiting for to voice their opinions about me." Ren squinted at the confusion. He slowly blinked, forgetting that Ren didn't know Alexia too well nor talks to many people at their college. He then looked down before looking back up, finding the right tone. "She follows Spiritual Satanism."
"Oh!" She quickly said. "Great girl." She smiled sarcastically. He only scuffed at her sarcasm, then rubbed the hairs on his chinstrap that outlined his jawbone. "Is that why you feel obligated to stay with her?"
He began shaking his head. "Nah, I don't follow that, I actually don't follow anything. I just know it well." He glanced back down before looking back up at her. "She knows where I stand, but the way she's been so pushy about the things she believes in, is annoying me." Ren slowly nodded with her arms still crossed. He then stepped down from the sink, slowly walking around Lauren as she stepped up to the sink to fix her hair in the mirror.
He circled around her, now towering above her from behind as he then watched the both of them together in the mirror, smoothing out his eyebrows. "At least she seems to love you a lot. She goes out her way to make sure you're okay." She commented, causing him to scuff at her sarcasm before she smiled jokingly.
