Trey's stubborn arm laid on the armrest in the movie theatre while Alexia's hand softly held onto his bicep, her eyes focused on the screen the projector illuminated. He could tell she was trying to fix her eyes to his iPhone discreetly, as he was content on texting rather than watching the movie she dragged him out to see.
He purposely made the brightness as low as he could so it wouldn't distract her and also to complicate her reading, but he also could care less if she was able to decipher who he was texting.
"You're not watching the movie." She whispered, being left ignored.
"Nah, at least what we're watching is making me laugh." He read Lauren's reply after he told her they were watching a new romantic-comedy that had just came out.
"Are you gonna watch this, or continue texting?" Aubrey's voice annoyed Lauren to no end. She was the only one laughing at the Couple's Retreat movie on Netflix, where Aubrey felt most of the scenes she hauled-laughing at was unnecessary or just inappropriate.
"I don't know," She shrugged, her eyes gazing back down on her phone once Trey replied. "maybe both."
Since his outburst at Frank's, Aubrey tried the catering route to apologize to Ren. Her actions in his truck were beyond him, but he could only blame Tremaine. She felt horrible for what she did to him, but that didn't change the fact that she hated how he felt he could control her.
She shifted her feet that were resting in Aubrey's lap, crossing her ankles to get comfortable as she continued her conversation with Trey. "I'd rather watch you swim than this shit.." She read Trey's reply.
"So I guess I'm boring to watch?"
"Not at all. I need more of that."
She bit on her bottom lip hesitantly as her eyes went up to Aubrey where he sat comfortably on the other end of her couch; his masculine chin laid on his hand while watching the movie, with his finger from that hand slowly sliding up and down his sideburn.
"I was actually thinking not so much more of that, I can't keep disrespecting Brey." She replied, and hated it that she replied with that but she had to do it. She knew Trey would fight against it, knowing how persistent and stubborn he is, so she put her phone on top of the gray, plush couch that they laid on in the living room of her shared apartment.
"You finally gave in." Aubrey smirked as he watched her stare up at him. Her face softened, having been awhile she looked at him this way. "Come here." He gestured before she complied and crawled over to him, resting her lower back in his lap as her side pressed against him while her head leaned against his shoulder and chest.
She felt the couch vibrate lightly, noticing out of the corner of her eye that her phone lit up, knowing that it was Trey. Instead of reading or responding to him, she continued her time with Brey. She could feel the familiar, cold drag from inside of him, causing her eyes to lower to the cool touch against the side of her face. However, both of his hands were around her, so it had to be the air, she thought.
She then felt the cool touch slide from her cheek and to her neck, then sporadically dispersing; it was as if it were invisible hands touching and caressing her as the touch put her in a deep spell. This left her to sigh, as her hand ran from the side of his body and up to his chest while softly looking up to him, waiting for him to look down.
