Epsiode 3: Arrival of the Aliens Part 3

Back in the Decepticon Warship: the Nemesis, Barricade came out the portal in the launch bay of the ship and came across Soundwave who was generating the Groundbridge portal that the Decepticon commander exited which then closed. Barricade then transformed back into his normal Cybertronain form while he held his torso where Bumblebee used his stinger to scar him.

"Good work Soundwave." Said Barricade as the Decepticon surveillance chief nodded silently. However, the former enforcer groaned as he felt the wound given by Bumblebee's stinger. "Is it okay if I go to the sickbay before I debrief to Lord Megatron?"

Soundwave shook his head in disagreement.

"No?" Asked Barricade as he groaned. "Okay, but he isn't going to like the report regarding the destruction of the human settlement, quick hint it's why the Vehicon troopers are not with me right now. Hopefully the sightings of the Autobots would please him."

With that Barricade and Soundwave walked to the control room of the Nemesis where Megatron was staring at the windows of the Nemesis.

"Barricade." Said Megatron as he turned around and looked at two of his warriors. "I see you have returned. Have you succeeded in the destruction of the settlement?"

"Well, It not entirely." Said Barricade as he bowed in respect to his master. "The troops did their best with vandalising the area and we did kill some humans in the process."

"If you were doing so well then why did you suddenly halt the destructive process?" Asked Megatron as he looked at Barricade. "Surely if you were making progress then there shouldn't be any delays."

"Well master I have good news and bad news." Said Barricade as he looked nervous while the Decepticon leader was glaring at him. "Which would you like to hear first?"

"The bad news!" Shouted Megatron as he growled Barricade not liking what he was hearing. "I would like to know of any obstacles we are facing regarding our conquest of this planet."

"Okay, here it goes." Said Barricade as he looked at his Megatron. "The bad news is that we were halted by the Autobots who survived that crash of the Ark and some faction of organic rescue canines known as Paw Patrol, the Vehicons at my command were destroyed by Autobots: Strongarm, Arcee, Bumblebee and Hot Rod and I was greatly injured by the teamwork of all four. However, the good news is that something such as this would imply a possibility of Optimus Prime being online also."

"Hmm, your not entirely wrong." Said Megatron as he then scowled at Barricade again while closing in on him making the Decepticon commander feel uncomfortable. "However, that is the least of our concerns! As this group of organic canines that specialises in rescue operations had witnessed you and our troops then it is most likely they have alerted the people of the settlement of your presence, which in turn would expose us!"

"Sir my Lord... but as far as I'm aware they don't have any proof of us." Said Barricade as stuttered a bit. "Even with the Autobots with them, they would probably view them as much of a threat as much as us."

"Don't be so sure Barricade." Said Megatron. "Depending on the trust the citizens of this settlement might have for the Paw Patrol as the Autobots came to their rescue, this group would probably vouch for them in a form of appreciation and trust in the Autobots!"

Barricade nervously looked at his master as he ranted about his failures.

"As much as I want to destroy for putting our quest at risk, you are what I currently have of my troops. So I will pardon you for this behaviour, but anymore failures and I will personally see fit to provide you with torture, depending on the number of troops, that you won't live!" Said Megatron as he glared at Barricade. "Is that clear?!"
