I slowly open my eyes, waking up thanks to the soft light seeping through the drapes. When I open them fully and I can finally see I find three maids sitting on my bed surrounding me.
I don't remember much of last night only that Duncan and I were gazing at the stars and then BOOM I don't remember anything more so I decide to ask the maids "what happened last night?" The maids glance at each other and then one of them says "we don't know much you were with the king and then when he came out you were under the covers without shoes sleeping peacefully, then we changed you" "oh thank you" and the three of them leave.
So I decide to run to Duncan's room when I enter I find Duncan half asleep on the bed "do you need anything?" god half asleep he is even more handsome and while I fantasize about him, he checks me out and there I remember that I am still in my nightgown now embarrassed I sit on the bed trying to cover myself "thank you" is the only word that manages to come out of my mouth "you're welcome" he gets closer to me and tucks a strand of my hair behind my ear while I smile like an idiot. No Courtney you shouldn't be smiling for a perv! He gives me a quick kiss that I weirdly enjoy. Ew! "I would say that was my reward" and he giggles "now go change you have breakfast soon" and I run back to my room.
I honestly don't know what I think of Duncan anymore sure he's still an asshole but at the same time he's so sexy and did you see him when he was still half asleep? Courtney! No! He's an asshole remember! While my personalities fight between each other I put on a nice pink satin dress and go downstairs for breakfast.
And there like every morning I find Florence but in unusual near her I see a little girl who must be 6 years old. So, surprised, I run down to see who it is when I arrive Florence points me to the little girl and says "hey Maddie this is Courtney" the little girl giggles "oh yeah brother talks a lot about you" I blush , smile at her and sit down in my usual seat.
Duncan arrives and when he notices Maddie his eyes light up and a warm smile forms on his face, the little girl runs into his arms, he pulls her up and spins her around while she giggles. He then puts her down, still holding her hand, "I see you've already met Courtney" she smiles at him and nods.
Duncan and Maddie also take a seat at the table. We all have a quick breakfast and then a Duncan asks me "Princess do you want to join me and Maddie ice skating" I smile, I love ice skating "yes certainly" he nods "then be ready at 3:30 down here" and so him and Maddie go to his room.
Florence also goes back to her room so I too decide to make my way to my bedroom. I am feeling extra happy the two things I love most are reading and ice skating and in two days I've been doing both! After I finish jumping from happiness I set out to decide what I should wear. I finally decide on a nice white sweater a black skirt with some knit socks and finally some gloves since it is freezing outside.

Courtney's outfit
Duncan's Pov:
Maddie and I go back to my room and she keeps asking me questions about Courtney I answer them all then she says "okay okay last question do you like her?" I smile and blush and then nod Maddie giggles "I knew it I knew it" and she starts jumping on my bed I just look at her and giggle. I pick her up "okay now it's time to go ice skating with Courtney" she smiles and I let her down. So me and her head over to where Courtney and I set up, after a few seconds Courtney comes down gorgeous as usual she smiles at me and I smile back at her like an idiot.
Courtney's Pov: Finally it's time to go so I go down the stairs and I see Duncan and Maddie there holding hands, I smile at Duncan and he smiles back at me arrived down Duncan says "Ready?" I nod and he kisses my hand me and his sister giggle. And so all three of us get into the carriage that was waiting outside the palace.
