"I don't wanna wait in vain for your love."

Things had a drastic turn for Evangeline the moment she began to recognize her feelings. She was never one to sit in denial about things, for all she knew, she'd already been denying such emotions for quite some time now, perhaps for as long as she knew the man.

It was a random Friday afternoon, Evangeline had been to the mines already, which was rare because she often spent the entire day in such a place. But today was a little different, the woman found herself walking into Pierre's shop, and she found herself asking about the bouquets.

"So, what does a bouquet signify?" Evangeline asked, the man had a very interesting expression on his face as Evangeline asked the question, she knew what he was hinting at with such a face, but she chose to ignore it for the time being.

"It shows your interest in someone, give it to whomever you want to date." Pierre said.

"Isn't everyone practically married in this town?" She muttered, Pierre just laughed at her, making her feel almost embarrassed about her comment, though to be fair, it was not inherently a true statement.

"There are plenty of young bachelors and bachelorettes." Pierre stated, "You wouldn't need to buy a bouquet if you weren't already aware of that fact." The man handed Evangeline a bouquet and continued to examine her expressions

Evangeline playfully rolled her eyes, by that I mean she rolled her eyes with a smile, and she knew that Pierre was right, and she had felt a little stupid for her comment, but she was trying to evoke a certain response out of him, and he had sort of answered that.

"So, how much do I owe you?" Evangeline asked, but Pierre simply shook his head at her.

"It's on the house, compensation for such wonderful sashimi you lent me the other day." Pierre laughed, that was part of the reason for him giving the flowers free of charge, the man was, believe it or not, a lover of love, and so he loved to see young lovers loving.

Evangeline managed to run into Marnie at the entrance of Pierre's, she gifted Marnie a gold star egg.

"Thank you dear." Marnie beamed, she had spotted the flowers, and was now going to comment about them. "Who's the lucky suitor?" Marnie asked with excitement. Evangeline wanted to tell the woman, but she couldn't bring herself to do that, and so, she pointed to a first aid kit that was in the aisle next to them. Marnie took the hint, and so had Pierre, who'd spotted the little interaction. "Oh, he's quite special to you isn't he." Marnie smiled.

"I'm afraid so." Evangeline mumbled, she was all red in the face and all she could do was look around the room and twirl her hair with her free hand. "Well, I'm off." Evangeline said, she said her goodbye's and headed off to finish whatever else she needed to do.

"Did you see that Pierre?" Marnie asked excitedly.

"Of course I did, I'm the one who sold her the flowers." Pierre laughed, by now, Caroline had entered the room and so had Abigail.

"What flowers?" The woman asked, and Pierre had been put into a difficult place and so he shrugged his shoulders and sighed, though Marnie was there and she was willing to talk.

"Evangeline's gone and bought a bouquet of flowers." Marnie cheered, "Though, I won't tell you who it is, I'm sure she'd like to keep that part secret."

"Evangeline likes someone?" Abigail asked in confusion, "I wonder who?" She was racking her mind for potential suitors, though she'd seen the woman speaking to a different guy every single time that they'd crossed paths.
