Chapter 2

Abigail's POV

"It's his wedding Abby, at least be happy for him." Bulong niya sa sarili. So she smiled like nothing's wrong and continued her presentation.

"We have a lot of branches around the world. Southeast Asia, Europe, USA, and now, we are planning to build another branch in Australia. Magic Genie has been successful during the past years. From casual clothing, now we are offering you wedding gowns and tuxedos for formal occasions. Our product is affordable."

"Why do you think you should stand your own store in Australia? Ms. Fajardo?"

"Actually sir, to me money isn't my reason. It is the name of my company. Genie is the name of my first child, he was the reason why I built this store. And now I'm having another one." I rubbed my tummy and smiled.

"I want the whole world to know about my store. Actually, I have charities where I offer my clothes to those in need for free. I want to inspire and help people."

"It is a deal Ms. Fajardo." Tumayo si Mr.Chua sa kinauupuan niya and he took my hand and shook it.

"Nice one ma'am Abby!" Sinalubong ako ni Pamela sa harap ng office ko pero nilagpasan ko lang siya at kumapit sa braso ng office chair ko. Bigla na lang ako'ng nahilo.

"Abby okay lang ikaw?" Napahawak ako sa ulo ko na kirot ng kirot. Nakita ko na lumapit sa'kin si Pamela and napatili na lang siya bigla.

"Ma'am! Naihi kayo!" Tumingin ako sa sahig na basang basa. My water broke.

"Take me to the hospital Pamela. Manganganak na ako!" I tried walking out of my office with Pamela pero medyo nag i-istart ng mag contract yung tiyan ko.

Dumating ang ibang guards sa loob ng office ko at naramdaman kong binuhat ako ng isang guardya. Pinasok niya ako sa loob ng van and he drove me and Pamela sa hospital.

It didn't take us long to reach the hospital and the nurses told me to fill out the form in which ginawa ko naman.

"Ma'am, asan yung father ng baby mo?" Binigay ko sa nurse yung form at lumingon kay Pamela.

"Hindi na niya kailangan na malaman na may anak kami. He is getting married today." I said bitterly.

Bitter na kung bitter. Hindi niya ako iiwan kung minahal niya ako noon. At lalong lalong hindi siya mag pa-pakasal ngayon kung mahal niya pa ako.

They took me in a room and they injected me ng pang patulog. It didn't take long and I fell asleep.

Abigail's POV

"Genie, get ready kasi lalabas tayo, I'll get Gio ready!" Binuhat ko si Gio at tinawag si Pamela sa loob ng office ko.

"Pamela, ano schedule ko on Monday?" Kinuha ni Pamela ang planner niya, "8am you have a meeting with the new clients, 11am you have a lunch with the manager of the Korean branch, and 2pm... Dinner with your friends. And you're free for the rest of the day." Binalik ni Pamela ang kanyang planner at yinakap ang aking braso.

"Ma'am Abby..." Pa-cute pa niya.

"Spill it Pamela. What do you want?" I smiled.

"Pupunta ba si fafa A.J sa dinner mo sa Monday? Sama mo naman ako." I knew it.

"Hoy Pamela! Tigilan mo na nga si A.J! Sasaktan ka lang non! Playboy yun!" Malapit ko na talaga siyang batukan.

"Ayaw mo non ma'am? Mas exciting! Pang wattpad!" Kinurot ko siya sa tagiliran at tumawa.

"Fine, basta usapan natin. Huwag malikot." Makahulugan ko siyang nginitian and I pushed her outside my office.

"Genie! Hurry up!"

"Ano ka ba mom, stop shouting. Nakaayos na." Genie stood in front of me and I can't believe he grew up so fast. He is already 7 years old. And he looked so handsome. Gwapo kaya ang tatay nito? Gwapo rin naman kasi si Gio. Pero mas maputi si Genie sa kanya.

"Tara na?"

We went outside and I placed Gio on the child seat with Genie next to him. "Ikaw ang Kuya Genie, huwag inisin si bunso."

"Of course mom!" Genie beamed.

Hindi ko na maiwasan na maging exited over the dinner on Monday. I'll be finally seeing all my old friends after almost 2 years.

But the problem is, I have no idea kung sino ang mag a-alaga sa nga bata.

Sinuot ko ang aking ear-piece at tinawagan si Pamela.

"Pamela, may problema, sino mag a-alaga kay Genie and Gio?"

"Malay ko sayo Abby. Ako ba nanay niyan?" Aba! Sinasagot na niya ako ngayon!

"Help me, or no A.J. ano?" Kung kasama ko lang siya ngayon ay nabatukan ko na talaga siya.

"Fine, bring them to my house on Monday. My sister will be there with her kids. I'm sure Gio and Genie will have fun." I trust her sister. Ilang beses ko na rin kasing na-meet ang kapatid niya.

She was pretty like Pamela, she has a good-looking and loving husband and 3 kids. Mabait din siya and she met Genie and Gio before. I'm pretty sure she won't mind.

"Dahil mabait ako, you're welcome." I heard her laugh. "Oo na! I love you friend!" I laughed and hanged up the phone.
