This is a chapter canon to the events of Tears of the Silent Princess, taking place between Chapters 52 and 53. I plan to write a handful of short stories that take place during the timeskip of the last two chapters, so be on the lookout for those! Enjoy!

Only a week had passed since Ganondorf's defeat and while everyone was due for a much needed break, a problem that just couldn't be ignored had to be dealt with: Hyrule Castle.
Still floating in the air, the symbol of the kingdom's prosperity needed to return to solid ground if there was to be any work done rebuilding once again. The Sages had all gathered just on the outskirts of Hyrule Field, preparing to work together to bring the castle to its rightful place. The only problem was that (y/n) and Zelda were uncharacteristically late.
"Should we get started without them?" asked Yunobo.
"Absolutely not," sighed Riju, "We don't know if we can safely bring this thing down without them."
"I can fly to Hateno Village and see if they overslept!" Tulin offered.
"No need, I can see them approaching," Sidon reassured.
Coming from Zelda's home away from home in Hateno Village was the Spirit and Time to offer their help. The other Sages finally noticed why they had taken so long: Under (y/n)'s eyes were five tear-shaped tattoos that trailed around the underside of the eyelid.
Zelda only had one tear in comparison to Rauru's three and Sonia's four, so the message conveyed was clear: "Out of the four tear-laden Sages, I am the greatest".
"Sorry for the wait," (y/n) apologized, "I had meant to get this done earlier, but... things got a little busy."
"Where is Link?" asked Sidon eagerly, wanted to hear about his friend.
"Taking some well-deserved time off," Zelda smiled, "He's earned it."
"Here, here," nodded Riju, "Now, about this castle..."
The Six Sages all looked to each other and then to the castle before reaching their hands out to the floating structure. The secret stones they held all glowed and shined brightly as they began to lower the castle back into place.
Using their powers, the first four Sages attempted to slowly guide the castle down back to the ground, but the sheer weight seemed to be a bit too much for them to handle alone. It was only when (y/n) and Zelda stepped in, that things became easier. With two fully realized Sages backing the others up, the group slowly set the castle back into its proper place.
There was an air of finality when it was all said and done, as if this final act was the thing that properly closed the book on this upheaval of the lives of the people of Hyrule.
As the others cheered, all (y/n) and Zelda could do was pull each other into a warm embrace, free from the burden of everything that had come before.
"Let's go home..." she whispered.
"Home sounds quite nice..." they replied softly.
