Bubu released Seis, and together, they approached the brothers and sisters. When Seis was less than ten meters away, the leader introduced himself:
- "Seis, young human from Albion. I am Aremetrios, also known as the Sage, the leader of the Tenth Tribe and the younger brother of Arémétria."
- "I thank you for your hospitality," Seis replied, slightly lowering his head as he had learned from Jonas.
He observed the "Little Brother," who was an absolute giant. Whether it was his appearance, his aura, or his imposing strength, nothing about him suggested that he was small in any way. Arémétria released her embrace and added with a wink at Seis:
- "Technically, we are twins, we were born at the same time. But ever since we were young, he has always been clinging to my skirts, so I call him Little Brother."
- "That time is long past, dear Sister. Today, I am responsible for all the members of my tribe. I am no longer a little Drakon."
- "I know, I know..." she sighed. "Sometimes I regret it, even though I am proud of you."
- "After we have settled this matter, I would like us to talk over dinner. It has been too long since we last saw each other, my sister. You are, of course, invited, Magnificent One."
- "I see that you do not invite my friend Seis, Little Brother," Arémétria had taken on an accusatory tone, now crossing her arms over her chest.
- "Indeed. Because the fate of this young man is already sealed."
- "Be careful... with what you are about to say... LIT-TLE brother," she pronounced these words very slowly and deliberately, the threat barely concealed.
- "Arémétria, before you arrived, I have already discussed this matter with the sages present here. By bringing the boy here, you have placed him under the responsibility of my Tenth Tribe."
- "Let's go, Seis, Bubu. I will return to discuss with my brother alone. I sense we are about to get caught up in a political affair."
- "We came so that the child would be accepted and recognized," Bubu added.
- "Mistress Arémétria and Magnificent Buburatouvila, listen to us," said an old man who emerged from the crowd.
Unlike Aremetrios, who was simply dressed, this old man was covered in gold: a crown, a scepter, bracelets, necklaces. For a Drakon, he was more or less the same size as Seis. He had a vigorous voice and sharp eyes; he instinctively reminded Seis of old Lou. He continued in his honeyed voice:
- "Highly honored guardians, your presence today honors us."
- "Spare me your flattery, I beg you. You don't mean a word of it. I know why you are coming to speak to me. But I came here with this child today, and I will leave with him."
- "Forgive me, but it is not for you to decide."
- "Did I hear you correctly? It seems that over the years, you've grown wings, but do you think that because you represent the sages, I won't strike you and your little friends?" she added with sarcasm.
- "Dear Sister," the leader's voice suddenly became menacing, "you are in my Tenth Tribe, and you are showing disrespect to the sages who represent it."
- "As you know, I am a Guardian, I no longer belong to any tribe. I represent all of them."
- "And how does showing disrespect to a mere servant like me serve the Dark Ones?"
- "Because you do not represent the interests of our people in any way. I see through you as if you were an open book, old man. You want to solve the problem of this young man and make it public among all the tribes to gain influence. The Tenth Tribe solves a problem that even The Magnificent One had not foreseen... You disgust me."
