??? POV:
"Hey sorry I'm late, I was stuck in Kyoto," Loud Cloud expressed, walking through the door of his portal and held his hand out. We were in an interrogating room at the police station, the only place that I could think of without disturbing anyone on duty. It would've been easier to do this at my agency, expect I was working with Tsukauchi and I was already here at the time of calling Shirakumo, so there was that. I return the gesture and grip his hand in a firm shake. Loud Cloud, otherwise known as Oboro Shirakumo; Aizawa's old classmate and friend. We've become neutral friends; expect I've directed it more through the work force (mostly since I respect him as Aizawa's closest friend). Even through the crisis that's taken place, he was pretty chill.
Shirakumo released his grip, stuffing his hands in his pockets. "Alright, I already know the circumstances, all I want is the locations of the last sightings of them and the video footage." Tsukauchi's response was simply opening his laptop, and it opens with the footage.
"The latest was in Yokohama, the explosion of two hero agencies with 86 casualties and 32 deaths, most due to thirty-degree burns. Before that was in Kyushu, just in Fukutoka, where two suspects that were identified as Deku, Izuku Midoriya and Cryogenesis, Shoto Todoroki. They both were lurking around Hawk's agency at exactly 11:08pm. If it weren't for the cameras..."
The silence was deafening.
Shirakumo nods as he listened intently. "So, you guys want me to patrol the areas?"
"We've already informed the heroes in Kyushu," I clarified, "though we could use your help, and your quirk." Not only was he stealthy, but Shirakumo would be able to use his quirk to bring other heroes to curtain areas in case of abnormal activities.
"Great, just contact me if you find anything else useful," he spoke before excusing himself from the room. I sighed, leaning back against the wall and glancing at Tsukauchi. "This doesn't make sense." It's been days since the disappearance of the three villains, extremely out of character for them. "Perhaps they're trying to keep a low profile?" he enquired, shutting down his computer. I hesitantly shook my head. "They're teenagers, and frankly, each one of them is too stubborn too-"
My words were stifled down my throat, a new idea settling in my mind. It wasn't perfect, but neither was it defective. I stood up straight, looking over at Tsukauchi. "Can you get Sir Night Eye on the line?"
Todoroki's POV:
"I TOLD YOU! I'M NOT EATING THAT SHIT!"
"Oh my- why are you so stubborn!?" I blocked out Bakugo and Y/n's voices, and instead ate my dinner quietly. It took a few minutes for my soba to cool, and at that point, Bakugo had gotten out from his shower and now the two are arguing about his diet. By the time things escalated to this point, Midoriya had already returned from the basement. He stood frozen for a moment before sitting in the chair beside mine.
"How long have they-."
"Two minutes and a half," I spoke, twirling the soba around my fork. Chopsticks would've been easier...
"Fine! I'll eat it then!" Y/n snapped, swiping the remaining food off the counter. Bakugo tenses, shock settling on his face until it's replaced with annoyance. "Well, what the fuck am I gonna have!?"
"You're smart! Figure it out!" Y/n scoffed before walking to the table and sat on my other side, opening the container of take away. "Seriously, how do you deal with him?" he grunts, picking through his food with his fork. Lately, Y/n has been more...accommodating. Less snark and brawls (expect Bakugo). If anything, he's accepted the circumstance we've stumbled upon; yet it's felt longer than a few days. It's been a week since being trapped here; Y/n appears to be putting tons of effort to get us home – which is appreciated.
I just wish there were quicker way though...
"Tolerate," I corrected his error. To say we "deal with him" isn't the right grammar. If Y/n knew what we put up with, he would agree.
"True, but he's so picky."
"I can hear you!" Bakugo shouted, staring daggers into Y/n's back who ate peacefully – disregarding the audience he had.
"How's your plan working?" Midoriya spoke, is gaze remaining upon his food. I don't know if they had a fall out, but both Y/n and himself seem...strain with one another. "Working progress." Was his only response, yet I didn't miss his shoulder stiffen. Silence fell over the table, Bakugo's rant falling to deaf ears while we ate quietly. I finished before the others, meanwhile, Bakugo made himself a salad, grumbling curses beneath his breath and left to the basement. He's been off lately – I can't quite pinpoint what it is, yet he just seems strange. Again, it could be since we've been here for a few days.
The counter's vibration cuts through my train of thought, my attention darting to the source. It was just a phone, and it took me second to acknowledge the tension in my shoulders till it finally left me. I read the notification and blinked.
"Y/n?" I didn't look up, yet I felt his attention fixated on me. "Who's Iris?"
A/n: Hi guys, sorry for not updating last month, school got in the way and I'm currently packing for my holiday. It's a bit short, but I'm also trying to work on a new story, which might become a series – but I wanna finish The Obsession first. Thank you guys, I hope you all have a good day/night. 😊
