3.1 THE KEY TO SUCCESS
Wanna know the key to success? Now before knowing how someone gets success, One needs to understand, what success really means?
In Geeta, Krishna tells us that "resilience is the key to success". Resilience is the ability of an individual to easily adjust to any change or misfortune. The ability to withstand any problematic situation and bounce back in a better and stronger individual.
Being resilient does not mean that you do not need to experience any pain, suffering, or emotional disbalance but it is a capability of a person to not to stop work even in stress and other dynamic issues of life.
Aman was a very fine and subtle writer, but from the past three years he was continuously giving effort to confidently speak in public and be a great motivational speaker. However when it comes to speak in public, he is always not able to make it because he was not able to face the huge crowd. If he knows how to write then will it be easier for Aman to succeed as a writer. The answer is yes; But if he is not confident in speaking will he be able to make it as a motivational speaker. The Answer to this question is no, it will not be that easy.
He tried hard to be a great motivational speaker all his life. For the last 3 years he was trying his best to become a successful motivational speaker. Every speech of Aman was written by Aman himself. His content was motivating and compelling, but his method of speaking was not very successful.
I am sure many of you would be in a likewise situation. You are good at one thing but you are focusing and trying hard on another. Here comes the role of Self Reflection and awareness.
Now you tell me, how many times in a day do you actually sit alone and talk to yourself? How many times do you self- introspect?
If you need to know what is going on in someone's mind you simply communicate to that person right? Now if you are not even taking a second to talk to yourself how do you think you're gonna know what you wish to do or what you do not wish to do? Obviously you'll not and you would also end up wasting your time, energy and efforts in something which may be your cup of tea.
Here I took an example of Aman, Now Instead of Aman try to fit your situation here. I am sure many of you will resonate with this. Now I told you that you need to sit alone, talk to yourself, and self-introspect. But how are you gonna do this? Whether it is the first time you are hearing this advice or not, let us understand how one should delve into self realisation applying the concepts of Bhagwat Geeta.
Isn't it strange, you are very fond of knowing the problems of your colleagues. You often ask them to figure out what exactly they want to head their lives, but wait a sec. Are you yourself sure of what you want to do ahead of your life in the near future?
I am sure many of you are gonna relate with this. So further in the pages we will talk about various techniques and laws which by practising one will get themselves to know better.
The body is like clothes on our soul. We know that we are mortal but our real eternal self is immortal and it never dies. The atman that is our soul never dies and is intransible what dies when we say that this specific person is dead, is the external body. The soul goes from one body to another. Death is merely like sleep to get into another body. Therefore we will see in the next chapter regarding how not to get attached to this worldly illusion and get to know your soul in a better way.
