Chapter 12

Heya buddies!!! Here comes the next chapter.

It's next mrng, when all were about to leave the hotel.

Abir - sb ready hogye?
All - ha.
Mishti - 1 sec, di kaha h?

They all looked around.

Rey - mai use dial krta hu. Tum ab airport k liye niklo.
All - ok.

They all left for the airport while Rey dialled Taani.

Taani - hello?
Rey - taani kaha ho tum? Flight ka waqt ho rha h
Taani - wo mai kuch kaam se bahar aayi thi. Tum aisa kro, sbi niklo airport k liye. Mai thodi der me join krti hu sbko.
Rey - cool

Rey felt something weird. Though he left for the airport.

Taani too joined them at the airport.

They still had an hour to go, so all were chilling in the waiting room

But soon Taani realised a red beam, targeting Rey's chest. Taani's eyes widened. She ran near him n before anyone could realise taani was shot at the back.

All - Taani!!!

Abir looked at the direction where the bullet was fired. N then saw a sniper n ran after him.

But the sniper vanished before Abir could get a hold of him.

Abir returned n they took Taani to the emergency room at the airport.

Taani was conscious yet in pain.

Rey's heartbeat raced like anything. The dr checked n confirmed that the bullet barely touched her skin. She'll be fine soon.

Mishti ran near her n hugged her tight

Mishti - di!!!
Taani - mmhmmm... mai thik hu chhoti.

She responded in a li'l pain.

Abir - mai flight kl k liye postpone kr deta hu.
Taani - nhi. Yha rehna khatre se khali nhi h Abir. Infact jitna jldi ho sake utna jldi niklte h yha se.

Abir nodded. He moved towards her and kissed her forehead.

Abir - take care. Mai abi aaya.

Taani nodded.

Soon everybody left except for Rey.

Rey - agli baar se mere liye goli khane ki zrurt nhi h.

He ordered with a stern face.

Taani - zinda ho k achha nhi lg rha?
Rey - tumhe.... aise dekh k achha nhi lg rha.

Saying so he gulped hard.

He started to leave but taani held his wrist.

Taani - I'll be fine Rey.
Rey - janta hu.
Taani - baat kya h?

Rey just moved his head in denial.

Taani - btao mujhe.....

Rey sat beside her taking her palm under his.

Rey - mai 7 saal ka tha.... jb maa ko malum pda papa underworld me gang leader h. Maa ne papa ko 2 option dia, ya to underworld ki duniya ko chune, ya fr unhe n family ko.

Taani looked at him.

Rey - papa ne badi mushkil se hume chuna. Bt ye baat un k gang k kuch logo ko pasand nhi aayi. Isliye un logo ne 1 din ghr pe attack kr dia. Raghav school me tha... papa ne bhai ko chhupa dia.... mai chhupne hi ja rha tha k 1 gang member ne mujh pr gun taan di. Wo mujhe shoot krne hi ja rha tha, k maa beech me aagyi.

Taani looked at him with teary eyes.

Rey - maa ko goli lg gyi, aur kuch malum pde isse phle hi unhone....

He gulped with all the efforts he had. His throat turned dry. And eyes turned wet.

Rey - unhone... dumm tod dia.

Taani squeezed his palm a li'l tight.

Taani stood with all the strength she had n hugged him tight.

Taani - I'm sorry.
Rey - mai nhi chahta, mujhse kareebi kisi ko b mere wajah se kuch ho.

Taani now detached herself.

Taani - I understand. But, agr agli baar b aisa kuch hua, n it comes down to you and I, I'll always choose you.

She says looking into his eyes.

She pecks his cheek n they leave to catch their jet.

After a long flight, they reach home.

Mishti - mhmm, kitna achha lg rha h waps ghr aa kr.
Taani - so to h. Chahe jaha chle jao, achhi neend to apne ghr hi aati, isliye mai to chli sone.

Saying so she left to sleep.

Raghav - me 2.

He yawned n left. Radha n Rey left as well.

Now MishBir were left alone in the living room.

Mishti - mai b chli sone....

She yawned n was about to leave but Abir stopped her.

Abir - aap kaha chli madam?!
Mishti - sone!!!
Abir - aise kaise? Abi itna badi flight thi humari, puri flight me soyi to ho. Mujhe tumhare sath time spend krne ka b mauka nhi mila.

He makes a pout.

Mishti - aww.... bt Mr. Singhania, ye cuteness aap pr suit nhi krti.
Abir - achha ji, to kya suit krti h?
Mishti - wo jo tum hmesha angry young man wala face bnate ho na, the long face, wahi tumpe suit krta h.
Abir - achha beta, the long face.... abi btata hu!!!

Saying so he ran to get hold of Mishti, but Mishti was fast.

Mishti - mahashay, itni b slow nhi hu. I'm faster than you think!!
Abir - wo to dekhenge!!!

Abir ran but couldn't get a hold of her, but not long after Mishti was caught in his arms.

Abir - q madam, kya samjh rkha h mujhe?!!
Mishti - khadoos.... nakchadhe....

Abir roughly pulled her into him by her waist n caught both her hands at her back.

Abir - aur ab.....

He asked looking into her eyes. Mishti looked into his deep eyes n gulped hard.

Mishti - ab....
Abir - ab...?
Mishti - ab....

Abir moved closer near her lips. Mishti instantly shut her eyes.... but also squeezed it with her eye lid.

Abir looked at her, n slowly kissed her forehead.

Mishti slowly opened her eyes n looked at him.

Abir - tumhe meri wajh se adjust krne ki zrurt nhi h. Humare beech tb hi kuch hoga jb tum comfortable feel krogi.
Mishti - thank you!
Abir - chlo, neend mujhe b aa rhi h. Chl k sote h.

Mishti nodded.

Abir picked her in his arms n moved towards his room. Both laid beside each other n drifted off in their deep slumber.
