Hello pretty people
I am back with a new chapter
I hope you will like itIt's been such a long time since Rudra and I went out just to have fun, and I'm thrilled because today, we're going to explore Delhi together. Our first stop is the arcade, specifically for bowling. We've always loved arcades—it's like they bring out the inner child in us, making us forget about everything else and just enjoy the moment.
As soon as we step into the bowling alley, I'm hit with the familiar sound of pins crashing, the weight of the bowling ball in my hand, and the music playing in the background. It's perfect. I'm already vibing to the music and, of course, crushing Rudra in the game.
While I'm lining up my next shot, I glance around and notice another group of friends playing in the lane next to ours. There are four guys in the group, all laughing and having a great time. But there's one of them who catches my eye—someone I just can't seem to look away from.
There's something about him that draws me in, whether it's the way he's focused on his game or the way his smile lights up his face. I try to shake it off and focus on my game, but my thoughts keep drifting back to him.
After we finish our set, I sit down on the sofa to put my shoes back on, but I can't stop my eyes from drifting over to him again and again. Rudra is talking about something, but his words barely register. It's like I'm caught in a trance, a spell that I don't want to break. The guy who's got me feeling like this is still engrossed in his game, completely unaware of the effect he's having on me.
He's tall, with silky black hair that falls just right, and his deep black eyes seem to hold secrets. And that smile of his—it's absolutely mesmerizing.
One moment, I'm tying my shoe, and the next, I'm sitting in a café across from Rudra, who's looking at me with concern. "What happened to you? You look lost. Is everything alright?" he asks, his voice pulling me back to reality.
I blink, shaking off the daze I've been in. "Huh? Oh, yeah, I'm fine," I reply, trying to sound convincing, but I know Rudra isn't buying it. He raises an eyebrow, clearly not convinced.
"Oh god, I'm starving from all that playing—I need my sugar fix," I say, trying to steer the conversation away from my earlier distraction. "What do you want to eat?" I ask Rudra. He looks at me, sighs, and says, "I want a chocolate shake."
I head to the counter and place our order, all the while trying to push thoughts of that guy out of my mind. We chat about everything under the sun as we wait for our food. After we eat, we spend the rest of the day exploring Delhi. We hit all the major spots: Qutub Minar, Jantar Mantar, India Gate, art museums, and Connaught Place. By the time we're done, my feet are aching, but my heart is full.
As the sun sets, we find ourselves in a cozy little restaurant for dinner. Afterward, Rudra drops me off at my place. My hands are full of shopping bags—souvenirs from all the places we visited. Rudra steps out of the car to help me, but just as he's about to grab some bags, his phone rings. It's an important call, something urgent at home, and he has to leave right away.
After waving him off, I gather all the bags and head toward the building. When I get to the lift, I see a sign saying it's out of service. Of course, just my luck. I groan at the thought of climbing seven flights of stairs with all these bags. I reach for my phone to call my dad for help, but it's dead—completely out of battery.
I sigh, realizing that my lucky streak has definitely run out. With no other choice, I start the long climb up the stairs, mentally cursing every step. By the time I reach the third floor, I'm completely exhausted. I slump down on the stairs, feeling like I might just pass out right there.
