"My father is a lawyer in the United States, as are most of my family members. I'm the only one who wanted to work here in Korea," Taehyung explained his family background to Seokjin. It had been three days since their initial meeting set up by Habeom and Jungkook.
"But why did you decide to work here in Korea?" Seokjin asked curiously.
"Well, working in my own homeland is a great privilege. Even though there's a lot of competition and some people say I'm wasting my youth here," Taehyung answered.
"Would you like me to bring you lunch?" Seokjin asked, offering to pick up food from his favorite shop. This had become their routine.
"I'd love to try your cooking," Taehyung replied. Seokjin got out of the car, and Namjoon and Jimin watched from the transparent glass window of the shop.
"Would you like to meet my co-workers?" Taehyung smiled.
"Maybe next time. I need to go to the office. Don't worry, I'll adjust my schedule to meet your friends and family," Seokjin assured, nodding as Taehyung drove away.

Seokjin entered the shop, and immediately, Namjoon and Jimin approached him like reporters seeking a breaking news story.
"Seokjin, who was that?" Namjoon asked excitedly, surprising Seokjin.
"Seokjin, is that Tae-nung or Taeyang, the person Jungkook referred to you as?" Seokjin frowned at Namjoon's persistent questioning.
"What's his background? Is he from a good family?" Seokjin hadn't answered the first question yet, and Namjoon and Jimin continued to bombard him with more.
"Is he real, or are we just hallucinating?" Jimin asked, further confusing Seokjin.
"Is he a good guy or a bad guy?" Seokjin was surprised and confused by Namjoon's questions.
"Jinnie, did he come from this universe or another one?" Jimin continued his barrage of questions.
"Seokjin, did he ask you to get married? What date?" Seokjin frowned, overwhelmed by the constant questioning.
"Did he tell you he loves you?"
"Seokjin, what does he do for a living?"
"How much does he earn?"
"Is he real or a scam?"
Seokjin became increasingly irritated by their relentless questioning, finally shouting, "STOP IT! Both of you. My head is spinning. You're asking like police officers interrogating me non-stop!" Seokjin commented and left the couple with their unanswered questions.
~~~~~
"Really, they asked you that kind of question?" Taehyung laughed at Seokjin's story.
"Yeah, they kept asking about you. Do you want to meet them?" Seokjin was still curious about Taehyung's feelings and thoughts.
"I wouldn't mind, Seokjin. Like I told Jungkook, I'd love to meet your friends and family," Taehyung suggested while enjoying the kimchi rice Seokjin had cooked. Meanwhile, Seokjin's heart raced as Taehyung mentioned Jungkook's name. Now, Seokjin had to worry about Jungkook's situation.
"We have a weekend reunion at Kim Manor. I'll introduce you as my fiancé," Seokjin stated. Taehyung smiled while observing Seokjin's micro facial expressions. He noticed something was off, but decided not to press the issue.
"I'd love to," Taehyung replied. "Seokjin, I love the kimchi rice. It's been a while since I've eaten Korean dishes."
"Tomorrow, I'll cook japchae. Jungkook told me it's your favorite," Seokjin said with a smile. Meanwhile, Taehyung continued to watch Seokjin's micro expressions and smiled at him.
