Namjoon and Jimin's wedding was a dazzling affair. Smiles were abundant, and the air was thick with joy. Both families were ecstatic, their hearts brimming with happiness for the newlyweds. However, amidst the celebration, a solitary figure masked their pain with a forced smile— Seokjin.
Jungkook, ever observant, captured this poignant contrast. Through his lens, he documented the outward joy of the occasion while simultaneously immortalizing the hidden sorrow etched on Seokjin's eyes. It was a stark reminder that beneath the surface of any celebration, there can be a silent storm of emotions.
After the fairy tale wedding had come to a close, Seokjin found solace in a secluded corner, his heart aching with the realization of his lost love for Namjoon. The exquisite prince-like suit he wore felt like a cruel irony against the pain he felt.
Jimin, radiant in their elegant, dazzling dress, approached Seokjin with a mix of trepidation and hope. Fearful of Seokjin's resentment, Jimin offered a timid apology.
"Seokjin, I'm sorry. Are you still mad at me?" Seokjin, with a strength that surprised even themselves, assured.
"If I was angry at you. I shouldn't be here. Attending my best friend's best day." Jimin said that there was no ill will. Seokjin continued sobbing. "Namjoon is not my prince charming, Jimin," Seokjin said softly. "You deserve someone who sees and cherishes you like you deserve and that's Namjoon."
Jimin wept, finding solace in Seokjin's embrace. The friendship they shared was a precious gem in his life, a treasure he cherished deeply. Despite the pain of unrequited love, Jimin's spirit remained unbroken. He was happy for Namjoon, and his love for Seokjin only deepened.
Seokjin, with a heavy heart, accepted the reality of their situation. "I guess it's not my time to meet my true love or get married," they mused aloud, a hint of resignation in their voice. "Maybe I'll be single forever." Jimin comforted his best friend. "Since birth, I still have not had a boyfriend." Jimin patted his shoulder. "Probably, this end of it,"
"Jinnie, enough. Don't be sad. Stop crying" Jimin also sobs.
"In your honeymoon, make sure you have many rounds." Jimin laughed and cried the same as Seokjin.
"We are crying and still having jokes" Jimin hugs Seokjin.
Meanwhile, Jungkook and Hebeom were growing increasingly frustrated. Seokjin's car was blocking their exit from the parking lot. As they approached the commotion, they overheard the tail end of Jimin and Seokjin's conversation about finding a partner for Seokjin.
"Hi," Jungkook stepped into the intimate moment between Jimin and Seokjin, interrupting their heartfelt exchange.
"Why you rascal here?" Seokjin rage instantly erupted.
"Your car is blocking our pickup trunk, and we are sorry to hear your conversation." Jungkook turned to Hobeom and continued.
"What do you want?" Seokjin angrily looking at them.
"Seokjin, if you're looking for a partner, just agree to our proposal, and I'm—" he began, his intentions unclear. Before he could finish, Seokjin erupted in anger, he stated to hit both Jungkook and Habeom.
"Get out of here!! You rascal!!" With a fiery temper, Seokjin hurled their shoes at Jungkook and Hobeom, who stood bewildered by the sudden outburst.
"We are only asking to remove your car!" Hobeom cried, because he only wanted to ask Seokjin to remove his car but got hit by Seokjin's shoes.
The next day
Jungkook's persistence knew no bounds. Day after day, he bombarded Seokjin with calls, each one met with cold silence. The once serene world of Seokjin had transformed into a chaotic symphony of ringing phones and unexpected appearances.
Jungkook, like a determined puppy, followed Seokjin's every move. Whether it was a grocery run, a visit to the park, or even a quiet dinner at home, Jungkook was always there, a constant, unwanted shadow.
Seokjin's patience finally snapped. "I don't believe you're going to give me a normal date," he declared, his voice laced with irritation. Seokjin pointed a finger at Jungkook, "You're a naughty, arrogant, shameless playboy, and I'm sure all your friends are the same."
Jungkook, unfazed, corrected him with a playful wink, "It's an international playboy." His nonchalant attitude only fueled Seokjin's anger. In a fit of rage, Seokjin pushed Jungkook, sending him tumbling towards the stairs. Luckily, Jungkook managed to catch himself before falling. "Are you mad at me, Seokjin?" he asked, his voice laced with feigned innocence.
"Your bad luck and a curse to my life," Seokjin retorted, his anger barely contained. Jungkook nearly lost his balance again, but Seokjin managed to grab him, preventing a serious fall to the balcony.
Jungkook's relentless pursuit of Seokjin continued, even in the bustling heart of Seoul. "Stop following me like a stalker, or I'll call the police!" Seokjin threathen, swinging their shopping bag at Jungkook.
Ignoring the threat, Jungkook persisted, "Seokjin, just listen to my proposal, and you'll love it."
Seokjin's anger flared, "Proposal on your face! Get out of my face!" They turned to leave, but Jungkook was undeterred.
"Please, Seokjin, just help me, and I'll give you a lover in exchange," Jungkook pleaded, grabbing Seokjin's arm. Seokjin's anger intensified.
"Helping you? After what you've done to me? You have the audacity to ask for my help?" Seokjin broke free and continued walking, but Jungkook was relentless.
"Please, Seokjin, this is a win-win situation for both of us, or do you want me to never take your funny face again?" Jungkook dropped to one knee, a dramatic gesture that drew a crowd. "I promise!!" Jungkook yelled make the crowd to pause at glance at their drama.
Seokjin, caught off guard by the public spectacle, softened. "You never disturb me... you promise?"
Jungkook's eyes sparkled with determination. "Anything for my love. For better or worse, for richer or poorer, in sickness and in health, until death do us part."
The crowd erupted in cheers and applause, creating a romantic atmosphere. "Come on, just say yes!"
Seokjin, feeling a mix of surprise and amusement, extended a hand. Jungkook took it, and with a shared smile, they sealed their impromptu engagement.
"Yes, I Kim Seokjin, agree to your proposal Jeon Jungkook,"
