PHASE I
Chapter 13:: AftermathAAYUSH
Tanvi's words still echoed in my mind as we stood there, trying to process what had just happened. Her grandfather's anger was still palpable, and I knew this wasn't over.
"Tanvi, we need to talk," I said, trying to sound calm.
Tanvi nodded, her eyes still flashing with defiance. "I know. Let's go outside."
We walked out into the quiet evening air, the tension between us still crackling. I knew we had to discuss what had just happened, and what it meant for our friendship.
"Tanvi, I'm sorry," I said, breaking the silence. "I didn't mean to cause trouble."
Tanvi shook her head. "Aayush, this isn't your fault. My grandfather's been like this for years. You just happened to be the trigger this time."
I nodded, trying to understand. "But what does this mean for us? For our friendship?"
Tanvi's expression turned determined. "It means we have to be more careful. But it's not going to stop us, Aayush. We're in this together, always."
I smiled, feeling a surge of gratitude. "Always," I repeated.
But as we stood there, I knew that our friendship was about to face its biggest challenge yet.
As we stood there, I couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. Tanvi's grandfather was not a person to be trifled with, and I knew he wouldn't give up easily.
"Tanvi, what if he tries to hurt you?" I asked, my voice barely above a whisper.
Tanvi's expression turned fierce. "I can take care of myself, Aayush. But I need you to promise me something."
"Anything," I said, without hesitation.
"Promise me you'll stay away from him," Tanvi said, her eyes locked on mine. "Don't try to confront him or fight him. It's not worth it."
I nodded, feeling a pang of regret. I wanted to protect Tanvi, but I knew she was right. Her grandfather was too powerful, too ruthless.
As we stood there, I knew that our friendship was about to enter a new level of danger. But I was ready to face it head-on, as long as Tanvi was by my side...
Just then, Tanvi's phone buzzed. She hesitated before answering, and I knew something was wrong.
"What is it?" I asked, feeling a surge of concern.
Tanvi's face turned pale. "It's my mother. She says my grandfather is planning something big, something that will change everything."
I felt a chill run down my spine. What was Tanvi's grandfather planning? And how would it affect us?
