I was meaning to post this up sooner but I'm a procrastinator at heart. But anyway, thank you for your patience, kind words, votes and support, guys. I honestly can't thank you guys enough.
"Mixed Messages" changed a lot from it's first draft, in fact it went through many many drafts and revision. Thanks to my wonderful Mentor, Jen Brooks, thoughtful and brilliant advice, the final draft is something I'm proud of.
Also if you want a book to read, I really recommend Jen Brooks' novel, "In a World Just Right". It's not like any book I've read before. I'll probably post a review here when I have the time cause it deserves a proper review. All I can say right now is that it was an emotional journey with Jonathan Audrey. Without giving too much away, lets just say he made me appreciate the little things in life, and gave me a genuine experience of being a senior at highschool again. I graduated this year and honestly, though his experience was definitely different (for one, I didn't have a world building power), it just gave me a realistic highschool feeling of moving on. Like, what-could've-been-different-if-I-joined-that-club-or-did-that-course feeling and the what-the-heck-am-I-going-to-do-with-my-life feeling. I don't know. It's kind of hard to explain. Maybe cause I started reading it right after my final highschool exam ever that I just got emotional. It's just been an amazing read. From the characters to the mystery behind Johnathan's power. So if you decide to read the book, let me know what you think. I'd love to talk to you guys about it.
I've also been thinking about posting my drafts for "Mixed Messages" on here as well so you guys can get a sense of the development and maybe inspire you. I'd love to get your thoughts on the drafts and what you would've suggested as well. Would you guys like it if I posted it? ^.^
Anyway, if you haven't done so already, click the link! :P
