Hey cuties 🥰 it's going to be a long chapter and I am sorry 😔 for not updating so long.

"What? You're getting married? With whom?" Kabir asked, his voice edged with surprise.

"I love Shreya, and she loves me too, so we've decided to get married," Sameer replied, smiling like a fool. Anjali and the others glared at him, but they kept their silence in front of Kabir.

"I'm happy for you," Kabir said as he removed his coat. A maid quickly handed him a towel.

"Really, bro? Thank you so much!" Sameer beamed, glancing at Shreya. His eyes seemed to say, See? Even he agrees.

Kabir paused, wiping his hair, before speaking again. "Now get lost. I don't want any of you here."

Sameer knew better than to challenge Kabir. When Kabir gave an order, it had to be followed-or there would be consequences. He looked at the trio and said, "Let's go, guys."

They all bid a hasty farewell to Akta and left. Kabir, meanwhile, headed to his room to change. Akta stood there, lost in thought. Something didn't add up. How had Sameer and Shreya gotten so close that they were now planning to marry? And why hadn't Shreya mentioned anything? Something is off, Akta thought, and I need to find out before it's too late.

"Madam... madam..." a maid's voice pulled Akta from her thoughts. "Sir is calling you in the room."

Akta nodded and walked towards the room. As she entered, she saw Kabir sitting on the couch, a box placed on the table in front of him.

"Come here," Kabir instructed. Akta approached the table. "I bought something for you," he said, opening the box to reveal a black sari with red embroidery.

"Why did you buy this? I already have plenty of clothes," Akta said, her tone flat.
"I bought it because I like buying things for my wife. And besides, we're going out tonight," Kabir replied, handing her the box.

"I don't want to go anywhere," Akta responded, her face expressionless.

Kabir's expression darkened. "Why are you behaving like this? Can't you spend some time with your husband?"

"No, I can't. Why do you always forget that we are not a normal couple? You forced me to marry you," Akta shot back, her voice rising.

Kabir's jaw tightened. "It doesn't matter anymore. You're my wife now-by force or by choice-and you will be with me until your last breath."

Akta's eyes filled with anger. "I don't consider myself your wife. I'm here because you've caged me. I can't do what I want, I can't go where I want. There's always someone following me like a shadow. I hate this! I have my own life! I hate you!" she screamed.

Kabir's face twisted in anger. He grabbed her by the shoulders, shaking her slightly. "You need to watch your tone," he warned, his voice dangerously low.

Akta pushed him away, her chest heaving with emotion. "Or what, Kabir? You'll lock me away again? Take away more of my freedom? How much more can you take from me?"

Kabir's eyes narrowed, his patience wearing thin. "You don't understand, do you? Everything I do is for you, for us."

"For us?" Akta scoffed. "This is not a marriage, Kabir. This is a prison. You can buy me all the saris you want, but it won't change the fact that you've trapped me here."

Kabir's grip tightened on her arm. "You're my wife, Akta. Whether you like it or not, you belong to me."

Akta's eyes flashed with defiance. "I belong to no one. Not even fucking you."
