The night before the big performance, the rehearsal hall was eerily quiet.

Hoshi sat alone on a bench, his head in his hands, feeling the weight of the sickness pressing down on him.

His throat was raw, his body aching with fever, and his thoughts clouded with frustration.

Tomorrow was supposed to be a huge day, the performance he had trained endlessly for.

But now, everything seemed uncertain.

Just then, the door creaked open, and Seungcheol walked in.

His eyes immediately found Hoshi, and concern etched across his face.

He had heard from the staff that Hoshi wasn't feeling well, and he couldn't ignore the gnawing worry that had followed him all evening.

"Hoshi,"

Seungcheol said softly, his voice gentle as he approached.

"You okay?"

Hoshi looked up, trying to mask the exhaustion and disappointment on his face, but it was no use.

"I don't know if I can do it, hyung,"

He whispered, voice barely audible.

"I feel like I'm letting everyone down."

Seungcheol knelt down beside him, placing a hand on Hoshi's shoulder.

"You're not letting anyone down,"

He said firmly.

"You've worked so hard for this. No one can take that away from you."

Hoshi's eyes glistened with unshed tears as he shook his head.

"But what if I can't go on stage tomorrow? What if -"

"Hey,"

Seungcheol interrupted, his voice steady and warm.

"It's okay. We'll figure this out. You've given everything to this performance, but right now, what matters most is you. Don't push yourself if it's too much."

Seungcheol sat down next to Hoshi, leaning back against the wall.

"You're not alone in this, you know? We've got your back, no matter what happens tomorrow."

For a moment, they sat in silence, the weight of the situation sinking in, but the tension between them softening.

Hoshi took a deep breath, feeling some of his anxiety loosen its grip.
