Seungkwan is trying his best to impress Jun because he is his favourite hyung.
Seungkwan shifted nervously on his feet, hands clutching the small bouquet he'd picked up that morning.
He couldn't help the soft smile that crept up as he thought of Jun, his favorite hyung, whose easygoing nature and endless talents made him someone Seungkwan deeply admired.
Today, Seungkwan had one mission; to make Jun see him in a new light, to go beyond the usual teasing or playful banter they shared.
He wanted to impress him, to show him that he could be someone Jun could look up to, even if he was the younger one.
It wasn't like this was the first time they'd spent time together, but today felt different.
Seungkwan had meticulously planned it out.
They would grab coffee at the cozy little cafe Jun always talked about, the one with the intricate latte art and the homemade pastries he adored.
After that, they'd go to a nearby art exhibit featuring Chinese artists, something Seungkwan thought Jun would really appreciate.
He'd spent hours online learning a bit about the pieces and the artists, just in case he could surprise Jun with his knowledge.
As they walked towards the cafe, Seungkwan kept his nerves in check, trying to keep up the light conversation.
Jun looked at him with that familiar twinkle in his eye, a mix of amusement and curiosity.
"Are you trying to impress me today, Seungkwan?"
Jun's question was gentle, teasing.
Seungkwan nearly stumbled at the remark, cheeks instantly heating up.
"W-what? Hyung, no! I just thought it'd be nice to spend time together, you know? Just us."
He cleared his throat, hoping his nervousness wasn't too obvious.
Jun laughed, patting his shoulder.
"You're too cute sometimes, Seungkwan. But thank you. It's been a while since we had a day just for us."
They settled into a corner of the cafe, and Seungkwan felt a swell of pride as he ordered Jun's favorite drink without having to ask.
Jun raised an eyebrow, clearly impressed, which gave Seungkwan the encouragement he needed.
"You know, hyung, you always talk about this place,"
Seungkwan began.
"So I thought it'd be nice to finally come here together. I know you're always so busy with your own projects, and I thought it might be fun to relax a bit?"
Jun's expression softened as he listened, and for once, Seungkwan felt like he had his undivided attention.
As they chatted over coffee, Seungkwan felt himself easing into a comfortable rhythm, allowing his genuine affection for Jun to shine through.
