Woozi likes his personal space and Hoshi likes Woozi's personal space too.

Woozi always knew that sharing a dorm with Hoshi would be a test of patience.

As the producer of Seventeen, Woozi often needed quiet, uninterrupted time to focus on his work, and Hoshi was like a human spotlight, bouncing around the room and dragging attention with him wherever he went.

From the moment they'd been placed in the same unit, Hoshi had taken it upon himself to pull Woozi out of his quiet bubble at every possible opportunity.

And for some reason, he seemed especially interested in the concept of personal space, or, rather, the complete lack of it.

Today, Woozi was hunched over his desk, deep in concentration, headphones on, eyes fixed on his laptop screen.

A song was coming together, layers building and blending in his mind as he tapped out chords and lines.

He was in his zone, the rest of the world fading away, until he felt a faint tug on the back of his chair.

He sighed. Only one person ever dared to interrupt him like that.

"Hoshi."

He said, not bothering to turn around.

"Woozi!"

Hoshi's face appeared beside his shoulder, far too close for Woozi's comfort.

"How'd you know it was me?"

"Because you're always doing this,"

Woozi muttered, shifting slightly to put a bit more distance between them.

"Don't you have practice or something?"

Hoshi grinned, undeterred.

"Practice ended hours ago. Besides, you looked like you needed a break. You've been sitting here all day."

He leaned forward, almost cheek-to-cheek with Woozi.

"Your neck must be so sore."

Woozi tensed up, resisting the urge to elbow Hoshi away.

"I'm fine."

He replied curtly, trying to ignore how close Hoshi's face was to his own.

He could feel the heat radiating off him, and it was more distracting than he wanted to admit.

"And I don't need you breathing down my neck."

Hoshi laughed and reached over to playfully poke Woozi's shoulder.

"But you work so hard! I'm just here to give you some energy, you know? Positive vibes!"

Woozi rolled his eyes but couldn't fully hide the faint smile tugging at his lips.
