Harley POV

Robin and Batgirl arrived first at the coordinates, and I'm talkin' serious spooky vibes - an abandoned mansion in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by trees that seem to whisper 'get out while you still can.'

You're probably wonderin', Harley where are you...? Kiddos, waiting to be rescued. Well, I had to 'convince' my sweet Nightwing to let me take 'Blue Thunder' for a spin. Got a bit carried away, went the wrong way, made a teensy detour... and I'm here now!

Time to make nicey-nice! I sashayed up to Robin and Batgirl, flashin' my famous Harley smile. I stuck out my hand, all sweet-like, "Harley Quinn, at your service!" After all, Nightwing's friends are my friends too... whether they like it or not, right?

Batgirl looked like she'd rather pin me to the wall than shake my hand, but hey, I'm used to that."

Robin took my hand, his voice barely above a whisper, "Robin here." Batgirl's eyes flashed with annoyance at Robin. I seized the opportunity to break the tension, grasping her hand in a firm handshake. "Don't worry, I'm on your side and Nightwing's here to keep me in line...(or not...)"

Batgirl broke the silence, "Harley, this isn't a game. Children's lives are at stake. Please, don't do anything reckless."

"Go easy on Harley, let's give her a chance to prove herself. What's the current situation now?"

My Nightwing's got my back, and I've got his - for now, I'll play nice. The mission brief begins, and it reminds me of my time in Suicide Squad, minus the whole 'suicide' thing...

Batgirl begins the mission brief, "I've scanned for surveillance cameras and digital feeds to hack, but I'm coming up empty."

Robin added on, "Perimeter's clear, no guards in sight. X-ray scan's not penetrating the walls - they're too thick. It's eerily quiet, like they're expecting us."

My Nightwing outlined the strategy, "Batgirl and Harley, search for the kids. Robin, you're with me. We'll create a diversion. Robin, take the high route, I'll take the front entrance."

Before we dispersed..."Whoa, hold up! I've got a feelin' the little ones are in the basement. Nobody knows these crazies like I do. And why should the boys get all the action? You two go find the kiddos, I'll take point on the front door, and Batgirl can cover the high ground. Besides, attracting attention is what I do best. What do you say, Robin?"

I leaned in close to Robin and whispered, 'I can help you crack Batgirl's brain.' Wink, wink, nudge, nudge. He nodded and gave me that 'I'm in' glance, and I knew we were on the same page. After all, who's better to get inside a lady's mind than me, Harley Quinn."

"I agree with Harley." Robin said.

He's so easy to convince, bless his heart. "So it's 3 vs 1, we'll go as my plan." Leaving my Nightwing speechelss.

As we sashayed towards the creepy mansion, Batgirl had this what just happened expression. I hooked Batgirl's arm like we were old pals and whispered, "Time to show the boys that girls can bring the heat, too!"

My Nightwing looked like he'd just sucked on a lemon, but Robin just chuckled, 'Yeah, keep Harley in line huh, more like Harley's got you wrapped around her finger."

I burst into the mansion, shattering the silence and announcing our arrival. But, oh dearie me, the quietness that followed was even more unsettling. I whispered to myself, "Did we hit the right place...?"

And then, I saw it, a shadowy figure darting into a room like a rat in a maze. My instincts screamed, 'Chase, Harley, chase!' But...that's when the creepy kiddos appeared. Three little cherubs with faces frozen in twisted, doll-like grins, and hands... oh, those hands were replaced by gleaming knives, just waiting to carve us up like Thanksgiving turkeys!"

Batgirl entered from the third storey, her ears drawn to the maniacal laughter echoing through the hallway. She tracked the sound to a door, her heart racing with anticipation.

As she burst in, two doll-like children, their faces stiffened in eerie, wide-eyed fascination, charged towards her with axes wielded in their tiny hands. A third figure, equally unsettling, fled into the shadows, its giggles lingering in the air like a chilling whisper."

Batgirl dodged the dolls' attacks with ease, realizing they were mechanical. She seized one doll's arm and slammed it into the other, disabling it. Giving chase, she pursued the third figure who ran down the stairs. With a swift leap, she glided ahead, cutting off the figure's escape. But to her surprise, this one was human. The figure lunged at Batgirl with a knife, only to be disarmed and pinned down effortlessly.

As Batgirl tied up the struggling form, she removed the mask, revealing a startling truth: a young girl, barely 12-14 years old, with a messy bob of black hair and a smudge of dirt on her left cheek. Her eyes flashed with a mixture of anger and defiance...
