------------------------------------------------------"Di yaar, kya kar rahe ho aap waha? Jaldi aajao na idhar." I heard Nisha's voice through the mobile, sitting on the car seat.
"Aa rahe hai, bahut hi jald aa rahe hai hum. Thoda sabr toh rakho." I said, smiling.
"𝐀𝐮𝐫 𝐤𝐢𝐭𝐧𝐚 𝐬𝐚𝐛𝐫 𝐫𝐚𝐤𝐡𝐞 𝐡𝐮𝐦, 𝐞𝐤 𝐦𝐚𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐚 𝐡𝐨 𝐠𝐚𝐲𝐚 𝐡𝐚𝐢 𝐚𝐚𝐩𝐤𝐨 𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐧𝐚 𝐦𝐞𝐢𝐧. 𝐀𝐮𝐫 𝐤𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢 𝐦𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐤𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢 𝐫𝐞𝐡𝐭𝐢 𝐡𝐚𝐢 𝐚𝐚𝐩? 𝐉𝐚𝐛 𝐩𝐡𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐤𝐚𝐫𝐨 𝐭𝐚𝐛 𝐭𝐨𝐡 𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐦 𝐦𝐞𝐢𝐧 𝐫𝐞𝐡𝐭𝐢 𝐡𝐚𝐢!" She said, irritated.
"𝐀𝐰, 𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐢 𝐛𝐞𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐬𝐚 𝐡𝐨 𝐠𝐚𝐲𝐢?" I teased.
"Well, cheer up. Because I don't think people in The Marot's would like a angry girl as their new coworker." I reveal the big news to her, that she was accepted in her dream company.
She literally screamed.
She had always dreamt of becoming a fashion designer, and had been working to achieve that goal.
I smiled, but it didn't reach my eyes.
I wonder why, I should be happy.
Almost a day later, the uber car reaches the highway close to the home Ishu - Nisha - and I live in, with the people I lived for two years, except for our house in the city.
I leaned back on the seat after an hour of virtual meetings and as soon as I looked out the window, I saw it.
The magnet land starting to pass.
That area was covered by a awning-like sheet and the cover had been opaque enough for anyone to not see through.
But some time ago, when the highway was usually less crowded, the awning-like sheet was removed.
I had gone in it once, but cannot really remember how it was because my eyes were filled with tears. This was because I was writing a letter to my parents, and flew the letter, hoping it would reach them wherever they were.
Since I moved out, I have only seen this land four times and been in it once.
All the times, it was beautiful.
But this time, it was glorious, gorgeous.
Any word you have to represent beauty.
It looked like someone sprinkled life in every atom of this land.
It looked so captivating, I was hypnotised.
Out of all the four times I had seen this ground, it looked more mesmerizing this time than any other.
