-Jongsuk POV-

It all comes down to this.

I promised Eun-ji I'd protect her, but Taehyung's here now...

I know I'll never get a chance with Eun-ji because let's face it, her boyfriends an idol and her best friend. I'm just a good friend to her that's no match.

When I heard what happened I couldn't believe it, I wonder where they ran off to. Most likely to their childhood spot. That place is absolutely beautiful, whenever Eun-ji and I went there, it was always fun.

I nearly confessed to her..

-flashback-

"On the count of 3!"

"No! Eun-ji this is insane!" I said.

"What? You never jumped off a waterfall before?"

"No! I never did!" I exclaimed.

She giggled. "Hold my hand, it'll be over before you know it."

I trust her..I do.

I smiled and held her hand.

"Ha!...dul! Se!" We both ran and jumped without hesitation.

Our bodies splashed into the lake as we fell right in.

My eyes widen as soon as I was underwater and slightly hit a rock, I saw Eun-ji swim to the surface.

Seconds later I rose to the top gasping for air, a sharp pain hit my head.

Blood!

As soon as Eun-ji was close I clenched on to her. "Oh my gosh oh my gosh.." I shivered.

"Did that scare you?" She asked.

"Yeah..look.." I rubbed my forehead. "I'm bleeding..i hit my head.." my vision got blurry due to the tears. "I got hurt..what if I had died?!" I exclaimed.

I'm shaking.

She wrapped her arms around me and washed off the small cut with water. "You'll be fine..it's just a small cut. I'm sorry Jongsuk.."

I sobbed lightly. "It's okay.." I took a deep breath.

She smiled warmly.

Now my hearts throbbing..

I couldn't help but fall in love with this girl, she's beautiful inside and out. All she's ever been was a good friend to me and I couldn't be more grateful.

If I could just..

"Why are you staring at me?" She asked.

"I.."

"Splash! Haha!" She said and splashed water at me.

I chuckled and splashed her back.

I guess it's best we stay as friends, besides I doubt she feels the same way anyway.

The day I heard she was back I rushed down here only to find her asap.
