Remy piloted the helicopter toward the island, casually glancing over at Logan, who sat stiffly in the passenger seat. In the back, Milo, Harper, and Marlow sat silently, each absorbed in their own thoughts.

"You don't like flying, huh?" Remy asked, smirking slightly as he noticed Logan gripping his seat.

"I'm fine. Just concentrate on what you're doing," Logan replied curtly, his eyes fixed on the horizon.

"You sure? You got a bit of sweat on your brow there," Remy teased, glancing at him again with a knowing smile.

Logan's jaw tightened. "Very funny. Just keep your eyes on the..."

"On the what? The clouds? Keep my eyes on the clouds?" Remy cut him off, clearly enjoying pushing Logan's buttons.

Logan shot him an exasperated look before turning back to stare out the window. "You're up and down like a freaking yo-yo here! Where'd you get this thing, anyway?" he growled, trying to mask his discomfort as the helicopter bounced slightly in the air.

Milo, watching from the back, exchanged an amused glance with Harper, while Marlow remained silent, lost in her thoughts.

"Oh, this is my baby. I won her in a game. Jacks over fives," Remy said with a smirk, his voice filled with pride.

Logan, visibly unimpressed, muttered under his breath, "Great." He was already done with the banter, his patience wearing thin.

Remy glanced at him, softening his tone slightly. "Relax. We're almost there."

Logan nodded, still tense, then glanced over his shoulder at Milo, Harper, and Marlow in the back. Milo caught his eye and raised an eyebrow as if to say, You holding up? Logan gave a small nod in return.

Milo shifted slightly in her seat, leaning closer to Harper. "You think this is going to work?" she whispered.

Harper shrugged. "I hope so. But with Logan, it's hard to tell what'll happen."

Marlow remained quiet, her gaze fixed out the window as the island drew closer, her thoughts clearly elsewhere.

As the helicopter hovered in silence, Remy finally broke it, pointing out the window. "There it is. The island. Three Mile Island," he said. The group looked out, the island resembling a massive industrial facility with its four looming pillars.

"Hide in plain sight," Remy continued. "No one's gonna snoop around a nuclear reactor. They think it's gonna turn them into freaks."

Milo couldn't resist. "Like you?" she quipped, a smirk playing on her lips.

Remy glanced over his shoulder and grinned. "Right."

He turned back toward Logan. "All right. You guys ready? Because it's now or never. Let's go," Remy said, his voice steady despite the tension.

Everyone stood up, preparing themselves for what lay ahead. Logan walked over to the doors. "About time," he muttered.

"Hey," Remy called, trying to keep things light, "if it makes you feel any better, this is really gonna hurt."
