Violet POV:

What the fuck did I just witness? At first, I thought this kid would be some sort of anomaly among humans, but he fought Veldora the Storm Dragon for days, and he is still alive! Not only that, but he is also a Demon Lord!

Well, Rouge always had a weird taste, but this time I can see why. The purple shadow soldiers he summoned from his shadow. It seems he also knows purple is the best.

Maybe I should stay with him for a bit longer. He is strong, and if I stay around him in this form, he could even give me a name.

---

Cale Valentine POV:

"HAHAHA!" Veldora laughed, "I haven't had this much fun in ages. What did you say your name was, demon lord?" He asked.

I was breathing heavily due to our long battle. It has been ages since I have been so tired, "Ashborn the Shadow Monarch." I replied, still ready to continue our fight.

My whole body was bloodied, and my armor was practically destroyed. If not for the Infinite Regeneration skill, I would have died tens if not hundreds of times during this fight.

Veldora was also wounded but was slowly healing, "HAHAHA! Ahsborn, I will remember that name, but now..." He froze in his spot, and I could see him sweating, "No, no, no, she is coming here."

What is he... Oh... I feel it now too. Velzard is on her way here, and I can only guess this won't end well.

"Hey, Veldora, how about we finish this next time?" I offered before recalling my shadows, "I think we both don't want to be here when she arrives."

"Yeah, staying here would be stupid when she is coming here." Veldora nodded his dragon head, and I used shadow exchange to my castle.

"Meow?" I heard a cat and then remembered my companion.

"Oh, so you are still here," I chuckled, "Sorry, I forgot you were with me during the fight,"

Hmmm... A purple cat, now that I think about it, didn't a purple cat appear in the novel or manga?

While my enhanced memories help me remember new stuff, it's much harder to remember things that happened before I got the memory boost. So while I can remember the stuff I went through in my mind, like the main plot, small things like this are harder to remember now.

---

Veldora POV:

I was scared... Really, really scared. My older sister was flying above me, with anger clearly showing in her eyes.

"Now you have done it!" She roared, "Haven't I told you not to go on another rampage? It seems I need to teach it to you again."

"I-I-I wasn't going on a rampage. I was having a fight, and we took it too far." I stuttered out, trying to find a way to escape.

"Oh, so there was another person with you. It seems they need to be taught a lesson too." She said, and the air got so cold I could see my breath.

"No, no, no, there wasn't. I was completely alone," I said, not wanting anyone else to experience the wrath of my older sister. Also, I want him alive so we can fight again.

Demon Lord Ashborn, my new Rival.

---

Cale Valentine POV:

I hope Veldora doesn't snitch on me. I know I would do it to save myself from his sister's wrath.

Anyways I'm tired from all the fighting, so I should go to sleep and hope for Veldora to escape safely.

"Meow?" I seemed to forget about my little companion again, which was quite surprising considering I should have an enhanced memory.

"Let's get cleaned up and go to bed," I said, stroking her fur.

I should probably give her a name, but I'm exhausted from the fight with Veldora and running practically dry on magicules.

I cleaned myself with a spell before heading to my room and falling asleep immediately while unconsciously hugging my little companion the whole time.

---

Violet POV:

"Hisss..." I hissed, trying to free myself from his grasp. What idiot does wall asleep hugging a cat?!

I tried to use as much force as I could in this form, but he didn't budge an inch. Hell, he didn't even wake up from this.

I sighed... I guess I'm staying like this.

Some time passed, and it started to get comfortable until I fell asleep.

---

Cale Valentine POV:

Waking up, I felt refreshed with my magicules fully restored and noticed I was hugging my little cat friend, who was happily sleeping and nuzzling into my chest.

I'm sure I've seen this cat in the manga once, but who was it.

Let me think... I focused on my memories of reading the manga. I always preferred reading the novel because the bottom part of my phone screen was broken, and there wasn't any other way to read them. The local library didn't have any mangas, and I didn't have money to buy them.

Now where did I see the cat?

I spent about half an hour before I remembered something. There was a spin-off manga. I think the name was Trinity in Tempest. A purple cat appeared there, and the cat was... Violet.

I just slept while hugging a primordial demon...

I looked at the cat that was peacefully sleeping. It's hard to think that the cat currently sleeping on my chest is one of the strongest demons in this world.

I chuckled lightly. She looked cute while sleeping, "Hey, little kitty, wake up," I started stroking her fur.

"Urggg..." She opened her eyes slowly while stretching, "Five more minutes..." She murmured before instantly opening her eyes and looking at me.

"mmm... Meow?"

"Oh, you suddenly forgot to talk, little demon?" I asked with a chuckle.

"Tsk." She clicked her tongue, "I wanted to wait a bit longer before revealing myself."
