After Carrion left, the big feast started where the Megalodons were cooked up.

I walked up to Rimuru, who was eating, "Hey, Rimuru. Could you introduce me to the blacksmiths in your town?" I asked.

"Huh? The blacksmiths? Sure." Rimuru said in between bites, "But don't you have a super powerful weapon?"

"I do, but I wanted to get something new, and I heard your town has excellent blacksmiths."

"Follow me. I saw Kaijin go back to his forge a while back," Rimuru stated, guiding me toward Kaijin's forge.

...

..

.

When we entered, we saw Kaijin working on what looked like a pair of gauntlets.

"Lord Rimuru, and you must be the traveler Cale I heard about. How can I be of assistance?"

"I wanted to make a request for a new sword, and I heard from Rimuru you are an excellent blacksmith."

"Hahaha... I'm glad my work is appreciated," He said with a laugh, "So, what type of sword do you want?"

"I want something like a mix of a short sword and a dagger to go with my main weapon," I brought forth my sword so he could, "And I want it to pair well with my current sword."

I gave him the sword so he could look at it, "It looks like a masterfully forged sword," He paused for a moment before his eyes widened, "It can't be! A sword made of Hihiirokane! The end-point of evolution for Magisteel, a material only heard of in myths and fables."

"Sooo... Could you make something similar but with a shorter blade?" I asked.

"Hahaha," He laughed and gave back the sword, "Of course, I can, and don't worry about paying for it. The fact I could see Hihiirokane is enough of a payment for me."

"I really couldn't have you craft a sword for nothing," I tried to say but got interrupted.

"Don't worry about it. But if you could answer, who forged the sword? It looked similar to the swords I've made, but the quality is much higher." He said.

My eyebrow rose slightly, "I'm not sure who forged it. It was my mother's sword." I answered, not seeing why I shouldn't.

"Haa... That's unfortunate. I really wanted to meet the blacksmith capable of forging such a weapon."

It was a good weapon, and now my old trusty sword will get a younger sibling.

I was observing my prey, waiting for the best moment to attack, and when I found the perfect opportunity, I sprung into action, "Surprise Attack!"

Rimuru, who was reading the various reports, only moved his head slightly and avoided my kick.

Twisting my body midair, I landed perfectly on the sofa and looked at Rimuru, who started at me with a flat expression, "You know when you shout 'Surprise Attack,' it isn't a surprise attack anymore."

"Hey, you fell for it the first four times..." I said

"Sigh... What do you want, Cale? I'm busy right now."

"More manga..."

"Fine..."

As I enjoyed the new manga Rimuru gave me without any care in the world, Rimuru spoke, "You know, after seeing you and Milim, I have a weird picture of the Demon Lords..."

I perked up from my manga and looked at him, "What kind of image?" I asked.

"Like a bunch of kids after eating too many sweats." He said.

I chuckled, "Well when you get strong, you can act hoverer you want without facing any consequences. Take Milim or me, for example. Even if we act childish at times, what can you do if we anger you?"

"Stop giving your mangas and sweets," Rimuru said with an amused smirk.

"Well, that's true in a sense, but besides that, we could do what we want without any consequences. Plus, the fact that our lifespan is so long that we live in the now, or at least I do. An example could be the Orc Lord Project the other Demon Lords did."

"You know, I'm surprised you weren't a part of it, considering the fact you like messing with people," Rimuru said.

"Something like creating a puppet Demon Lord isn't my style." I chuckled, remembering one of my pranks, "I once pulled a few pranks on a country, making them fear anyone wearing a monocle and banning it completely."

"..."

Rimuru looked at me speechless while I continued to chuckle, "Hehe..." I wiped a single tear, "Oh, you should see their reactions when they see a monocle. I think the name I used at that time was Amon."

"..."

"What?" I asked, raising an eyebrow, "I did no real harm besides a few noble bloodlines being cursed with only having female heirs for the next 200 years."

"Remind me never to piss you off..." Rimuru said.

I chuckled, "Don't worry, Rimuru. Even if I don't curse you. You can't get any children, and even if you gave birth by splitting yourself, they wouldn't have a gender just like you," I said, giving him the thumbs up.

"Can you not remind me that I will forever stay..." My laughter interrupted him.

I always had fun messing with people, and Rimuru was the perfect target for them. A tick mark appeared on Rimuru's forehead, making me laugh even harder.

"Oh, don't be like that. There is a way for you to get a gender," I said.

He perked up from his papers and looked at me wide-eyed, "Really? It's possible?" He asked.

"Oh yeah, but you would need to sign a contract with the devil," I smirked.

He sighed, "Forget it. I already know it's one of your pranks. Then knowing you, I would probably be turned into a woman."

My smile turned into a grin, "You are getting smarter with each passing day. But who said I need your permission for that? I'm sure there are lots of people that would like me to turn you into a woman." I said.

I looked at Rimuru who was sweating bullets now, "You wouldn't do that right? RIGHT!?" He asked.

"Think about the possibilities if you become a woman," I said like a devil trying to corrupt his prey.

For a moment he seemed to be thinking about it before shaking his head, "No, no, no Rimuru don't listen to him..." He muttered to himself.

"Well, I tried," I then stood up, "Well, I'm going to get my new dagger and return to my castle. Like always, if you need something, just send a message."

Author's Note:

Thank you for reading this chapter.

For the people commenting on the last chapter. Cale is really strong but hasn't shown it and the other Demon Lords that don't know Cale as much as Guy or Milim think he is around the lower level of a True Demon Lord. I noticed the way the wording of that sentence was confusing after reading the comments.
