"Shit..." I cursed and turned 180 degrees, but a hand was placed on my shoulder as I was about to teleport away.

"And where do you think you are going?" My mother asked.

I turned around in an almost robotic fashion with an awkward smile, "Hey, Mom... Long time no see..."

She had a smile that didn't reach her eyes, "Yeah, a long time indeed. It seems there was a lot I didn't know, like the fact you have been in a relationship for the past hundred years."

I was sweating bullets at this moment. Even if I'm much stronger than her, there is something every mother figure has that no matter how strong you become, you will be powerless before their wrath.

It's like there is some kind of Intrinsic Skill for every mother that makes them more powerful when scolding their children.

"I'm sorry, mother-in-law, my love is always busy with all his projects, so he must have forgotten to tell you about me before," Ultima came with the save, but it didn't last long as I saw the sadistic smile on her face, "How about we both go on a shopping trip and tell each other different stories about Cale. You surely have some fun stories of him when he was a child."

"That sound like a perfect idea, Ultima," Mom said with a smile.

That was also when I noticed the third person in the room. She had waist-long silver-white hair and crimson-red eyes. I, of course, instantly recognized who she was, the White Primordial. But what was she doing here?

No. The biggest question in my mind was, why is she wearing a maid uniform?

Seeing my confused look, Ultima explained, "We were looking for another maid, and while I was out, I found the perfect candidate, so I brought her with me,"

I nodded without saying anything. If I didn't know she was the White Primordial, I would assume she is a perfect maid by the way she behaves.

But my biggest question was, how in the hell did Ultima make her do it?

I know Ultima is currently much stronger than Blanc, but I don't see any possible scenario where she would willingly put on a maid uniform unless she somehow has a maid fetish, but I doubt that.

I can already feel a headache coming from this.

Mom and Ultima looked at me, "You wouldn't mind if we used some of your money, right?" My mother asked.

"I don't mind..." I said with a fake smile while internally crying. I could see gold disappearing with every second, and they hadn't even left!

...

..

.

They just left...

'Athena, calculate the chances of me still having any money after this...'

[Notice. Calculation impossible.]

I thought so...

My hard-earned money!

[Notice. You used [Material Creation] to make most of them...]

'It still took time to make it!' I tried to defend myself.

[Sigh...]

'Did you just sigh at me?' I asked.

[Notice. It's your imagination.]

'No, no. I think you did.

[Notice. It's your imagination.]

'Fine if you say so...'

Anyways if Mom and Ultima went shopping together, the only thing I can do here is to do the paperwork or... Let's train.

Standing around twenty meters away from Igris, both my weapons were already in my hands, and Igris with his longsword that had a purple glow to it.

Igris was a shadow I named around 150 years ago, and he is responsible for training the shadow soldiers in close-quarters combat.

He is a bit shy, so he doesn't talk much. Before becoming a shadow, he was an Enlightened who was close to evolving into a Saint who mastered swordsmanship during his almost a hundred years, and even after becoming a shadow, he continued to polish his swordsmanship.

I would want to see him spar against Hakurou. Both are masters of swordsmanship. That would be an interesting fight to watch.

As the signal was given, Igris charged forward, his longsword cutting through the air with incredible force. I relied on my speed and reflexes to evade and parry his powerful strikes. I moved with calculated precision, positioning myself to exploit any opening I could find.

The clash of steel echoed through the air, our blades colliding in a symphony of battle. I deflected his blows with my sword, all the while keeping a keen eye on his movements.

In a moment of respite, I saw my chance. Igris swung his longsword wide, leaving his flank exposed. Without hesitation, I closed the distance, my dagger glinting in the sunlight.

As I aimed for his vulnerable side, I felt a surge of confidence. But Igris, ever vigilant, spun around swiftly, deflecting my dagger with the edge of his longsword.

Our duel continued a display of skill and strategy. Igris unleashed his longsword with thunderous power while I relied on swift movements and calculated strikes. I weaved in and out, striking when the opportunity presented itself, aiming to keep him off balance. The intensity of our battle grew.

Then, in a moment of heightened focus, I saw the opening I had been waiting for. Igris's longsword swung down with all its might, and I instinctively deflected it with my own sword. Seizing the opportunity, I lunged forward, my dagger aimed straight at his exposed chest.

But Igris, like a true warrior, twisted his body at the last possible moment, narrowly avoiding what would be a lethal strike if he wasn't a shadow.

Even if this was only a duel, I enjoyed having someone to fight. Maybe that's why Milim and I often fight each other.

After the small spar, I decided to prepare myself for their return while hoping nothing bad would come out of it.

Two primordial demons and the Vampire Queen went shopping... What could go wrong?

Not only that but the blackmail material Ultima could gain from my mother. I remember the time I almost burned down my hair while making my own spell...

Or that one time I changed into my female form and got caught checking out my body...

[Notice. Master's female form is truly beautiful.]

'Thanks, Athena...'
