When writing the story of The Oubliette at Ak Min Tor, in the very first chapter, Jassron was singing a little song to himself about something from his past.  I didn't feel it would be right to reference something that wasn't in print, so here is the song:

This is a very interactive song that is played in a bluegrass style (2:4 time, oom-cha oom-cha feel). The singer's job is to get the attention of the patrons and get them to interact with him during the show. Girls in the audience can use this time to strut their stuff and encourage the guys to dance with them. This song shows that it's not always a guy who has the upper hand when it comes to dalliance. The reference to the "Green and Brown" is also a sideways slant to those drawn to the wild and free side of the Ranger lifestyle.

(Instrumental Intro)

(Verse 1)

A filly runs in the green an brown

The green and brown, it's green an brown

A filly runs in the green an brown

She'll ne'er stay in the shieling

(Instrumental Interlude)

(Verse 2)

An now a Bo rides up an down

It's back an forth, an round an round

We got this Bo rides up an down

Her dithers sent ta reeling

(Instrumental Interlude)

(Verse 3)

What na 'bout that green an brown

An bare shines bright, with the knickers down

What na 'bout them green an brown

Well, they were set ta peeling

(Instrumental Interlude)

(Verse 4)

Her brother sent ta find the Bae

She slipped on off, well that's her way

Her brother sent ta find that Bae

Her Mama knows she's deedling

(Instrumental Interlude)

(Verse 5)

Well, how's she know what filly's do

Her past the prime, an wrinkles too

Now how's she ken what the filly's do

Well, we all "start" in the shieling

(Verse 6)

You know, in the prime, we all been there

An there, an there, an there, an there

When young, ya know, we all been there

With dithers sent to reeling

(Instrumental Interlude)

(Verse 7)

Well, the brother ne'er did find the Bae

Looked in the barn, an round the hay

That brother ne'er did find that Bae

Cause the forest's where she's peeling

(Verse 8)

An that Bo, he ne'er did know her name

She didn't care, her dither's tamed

The Bo rode off, didn't know her name

Sweet memories o' the deedling.

(Instrumental Interlude)

(Outro Verse)

A filly runs in the green an brown

The green an brown, it's green an brown

A filly that runs in the green an brown

She'll ne'er stay in the shieling
