"Lunar" chuckled. Gemini took a small step back. "Answer our question," demanded Castor.

The fake Lunar frowned. "Well, I don't have to- don't look at me like that, I didn't say I wouldn't!"

"See, you've got it all wrong. I am Lunar," he continued.

Gemini opened their mouth to make a retort, but "Lunar" held up his hand. Gemini crossed their arms, but remained silent.

"Let me finish. I may be Lunar..." He snapped his fingers, but remained unchanged. That is, except for one key feature.

His eyes turned a neon pink-red color. Actually, the same shade that our Lunar's had been before he died. Otherwise, however, this Lunar had the same purple, yellow, and blue color scheme and outfit as our Lunar currently did.

"I'm just not yours," he finished. A pause. "That was unnecessarily dramatic," remarked Castor. This Lunar rolled his eyes. "Sue me. Oh, I thought you might like to know that others in your dimension are quite aware of my existence. I believe they call me a rather unflattering name. Evil Lunar, or something like that." He shrugged.

Gemini shook their head. "Look, we don't really care what others call you. We know our Lunar is here, and we would like to see him." Suddenly, Pollux piped up. "WHERE IS HE!? IS HE OKAY!?"

Evil Lunar (yes, that's what we're going to call him) had a slightly cheerful look on his face, although it looked more forced than not. "Calm down, Pollux. He's fine. Just here for a little visit."

Castor snorted. "He got forcefully dragged here by the ball pit. I hardly think that qualifies as 'fine.'"

"I never said the visit was voluntary," responded Evil Lunar. "Look, I won't hurt him. I just wanted to meet my... other self."

"Well, let him go!" Pollux commanded, a slight tremble in her voice.

"But dear Pollux, I'm not sure you'd want me to if you knew the truth. You see... your Lunar is manipulating you."

...

"What." "WHAT!?"
