hope you enjoy!

This was it. It was over. She wasn't going to save herself.

She almost escaped. She got the duct tape off of her face, off of her wrists and her ankles, she even made it out the window, climbing up the desks and hitting the ground. But he was there. Pulling in as she landed. The pain in her legs caused her to become dizzy she as scanned her surroundings. But there was nothing she could do now.

Pip ran straight towards the woods, hobbling on her sprained ankle, shooting anguishing pain up her leg with each step. But he got to her. Jason Bell, the DT killer. He was a suspect on her stalker list, but never once did it cross her mind that he would try to kill her. She thought the DT killer was Daniel da Silva, but right now, she really wished he was here.

She was only able to get a few yards away from the shed, up towards the tree line, before Jason pulled her back, dragging her to her death. Pip punched and kicked and screamed, trying to get away from him, but his iron-clad grip wouldn't budge.

She was going to die.

She wasn't going to be able to save herself.

Jason dragged her back into the shed, throwing her against the cold floor, causing her ears to ring and her head to throb. Pip knew she didn't have much time left, and like before, she thought back about everything she could never do again. How she could never hug her mom and tell her she loved her, eat pancakes with Josh and make jokes with him, hear her dad call her 'pickle', hold Ravi's hand and feel his safe arms around her.

Pip would never be able to laugh with Cara again. Or make jokes with Connor, or see Jamie and Nat so, so happy together. She would never be called Sarge again. And all of those thoughts made her want to cry.

But she didn't have the time. If she was going to die, like she did with the trunk of Jason's car, she was going to try to get her DNA everywhere. Jason was above her now, holding a knife in his hand. "Too loud." he muttered; his voice cold. Pip found herself shivering just looking at him. "I've never liked girls who were too loud." She didn't have a lot of time left, so she fought.

She fought with everything she had, clawing and scratching his arm as he got closer to her. Pip kicked his stomach, watching him double over. Pip scrabbled to her feet, but he was too fast. He grabbed her leg, yanking her back. "Stop running, Pip. There's nowhere to go." he said. Pip screamed, trying her hardest to pull away.

Jason stepped hard onto her leg, causing it to crack. Pip felt the searing pain rushing through her bones as she tried to keep conscious, tried to fight back. But she felt her will to live slowly fade away. "Goodbye Pip Fitz-Amobi, you tried your best." Pip closed her eyes, feeling the presence of the knife close to her chest.

But something stopped him.

She heard the sounds of car doors slamming and people shouting from behind her head, but she could barely move. The pain in her ankle was becoming unbearable, Jason's weight still on top of it. Then she heard a voice she recognized. That voice that always brought her out of her thoughts, the one that silenced the gun that went off in her mind again and again. The one that calmed her down after a long, stressful day. The one that was her lifeboat. Her cornerstone. And this time, the Ravi she heard wasn't in her head. He was right there, right now. "Pip!"

She was going to live.

"Jason Bell! Step away from Pip!" Another voice roared from outside the shed. The voice of Daniel da Silva, her three-time suspect, was standing right there, with a gun pointed towards Jason. "I mean it, drop the knife and put your hands in the air." Jason looked up at the police in front of him, Pip hearing over voices and door slamming and guns cocking. But it wasn't over yet. Jason glanced down at Pip with a malicious smile, "I'll come back for you." He whispered, dropping the knife a little too close to her side and pushing down on her ankle again, causing her to cry out.
