THE NEXT DAY, Pippa asked if Marla would help her and go to the Hastings silver wedding party. "Pippa, are you crazy? Im obviously not welcomed there." Marla told pippa, earlier pip found Marla on a walk and decided to ask her. "Come on, Marla! Please, I thought you wanted to help." Pippa tried to bribe her, but it clearly wasn't working.

Marla sighed, "Pip, they will most likely throw me out." The girl rolled her eyes, and continued walking. "Please, Marla."

Marla finally gave in, "Fine. But if I get kicked out, it's not my fault." Pippa smiled brightly, "Thank you." Marla thought if she dared to roll her eyes one more time (even if she old rolled them once or twice) they would go into the back of her head.

APPARENTLY, Pippa dragged her best friend into this. "So, before we go in, uhm, this is Cara, and Cara this is Marla." Pip introduced, looking between the two girls. Marla seen her around school before, but the girl dropped out because she kept on getting..threats.

"Nice to meet you." Cara smiled, putting her hand out for Marla to shake. Marla wasn't a big fan of physical touch, but for some reason she shook it. "You too." Marla copied her actions (Pretty sure they ignored the sparks that happened when they shook hands).

"Okay! You guys ready." Pippa smiled, and the two girls responded at the same time, 'Yes' Cara said, while Marla said, 'No'.

They grabbed the plates with drinks on them, and walked to the entrance. The trio froze, looking ahead of them were a lot of people. "There are people from school here." Cara said bluntly, looking around as the other two girls copied her actions.

"I didn't know there was a whole stars of the silver screen theme."

"I should have never agreed to this." Marla said, and Cara agreed with her. "Is y'all's chafing? Mines really chafing." Cara asked, "I just need to ask max one thing and we can go." Pip told her, glancing at her and Marla sideways.

"Well, you better make it fast." Marla said to the shorter girl, side-eyeing her. "Okay."

The trio walked down the steps, smiling at whoever glanced at them, but to be fair Marla saw the looks they were giving her, and she didn't like it. It made her feel uneasy, and she wanted to puke.

If Marla's being honest, Cara did look good in that costume. She was very pretty, no doubt.

The trio split up, well not really—pip went off somewhere while Marla just followed cara. "Have I seen you from school?" Cara questioned, "Yeah—well you know, before I dropped out."

Marla was smart no doubt, that's why she didn't have a problem with dropping out. "Oh." Cara responded, she remembered Marla because she always thought she was pretty (And so did Marla).

After a bit of trying to find max, Pippa finally did. But when she turned her head for one second, he was gone. "Marla!" Pip called, and marla turned around. "What happened?"

"Come on, follow me." Pip ordered, and started to walk off someplace, glancing back at Marla who was confused but followed her nevertheless.

"Where are we going?" Marla whisper-shouted, looking back to try to find Cara to save her, what if i was going to be murdered by pip? Actually, never mind she couldnt hurt me—I'm taller than her.

Pip explained to Marla that they were going to go find and interview max hastings. "Oh no I'm not—you can, but I'm not." The taller girl stumbled, glancing at pip. "Come on, please! What if I get I don't know—killed?"

"You won't, but if you do—that's your fault." Pip rolled her eyes, and dragged Marla anyways. Oh god, I think I might just puke right here.
