MARLA ARRIVED HOME JUST ON TIME TO SEE PIP GOING THROUGH HER BROTHERS PHONE WITH RAVI NEXT TO HER. "Uh, what are you guys doing?" Marla asked, scaring the both of them causing pip to drop the phone.
"Uh.." Pip trailed off, "I'm letting her go through Sal's phone." Ravi explained, looking at his little sister. Marla nodded, pressing her lips together. "Okay."
Pip went back to looking at the phone, furrowing her eyebrows. "The grammar. The last text, punctuation is perfect, but the others.." Pip confusingly said, "Sal was the smartest person I knew, but he texted like an illiterate."
Marla nodded at his words, "It's true." Pip continued to look at the messages. "He didn't write the confession." Pip said to the both of them. Both of the signh siblings were now confused. "So if he didn't write it, who did?" Pip questioned, looking once again between the two siblings. "Who would have even gotten his phone.." Marla muttered to herself.
"I guess that's what we need to find out." Ravi said, and pip grinned.
LATER THAT NIGHT, Marla was scrolling through her phone. Out of nowhere, she gets a message from an unknown person. Curiously, she clicks on it.

MARLA TURNED OFF HER PHONE, and left it facing down. "What the hell.." Marla was scared, confused, and curious. She wasn't gonna tell anybody, but what if she was next? Marla shut her eyes, and tried to go to sleep. But she couldn't, all she could think about was that number, that unknown number.
