AFTER A BIT OF SEARCHING, THE TWO GIRLS FOUND MAX.  "Hi." Pippa greeted nervously, glancing at Marla whose head was down. When pip turned around, she saw how max was staring at the taller girl. "Do you wanna wait outside..?" Pip whispered to Marla, and the tall girl was thankful she would let her. "Yeah, thanks."

MARLA WAITED OUTSIDE OF THE HASTINGS PARTY. The girl was too much in her own world to realize someone had sat beside her. "Hey." A female voice spoke, taking Marla out of her thoughts. She turned her head to see Cara there. "Hi." Marla smiled, glancing at her. "What are you doing out here?"

"Waiting for pip." Marla explained, looking behind them. "Oh." Cara awkwardly said, nodding her head.

"Why, what's up?" Marla asked curiously, wanting to know why she was talking to her (Not like she didn't like hearings Cara's voice). Cara shrugged her shoulder, looking away so Marla doesn't see the heat rising to her cheeks (She didn't have a reason).

"Nothing. Just..bored."

Marla grinned, turning her head to look at Cara, "You wanted to see me?" The darker skinned girl teased, but that just made Cara's face more red. "Uh.." Cara stuttered. Before she could say something, Marla spotted pip. "Pip!" Marla called out, getting up and putting her hand out for Cara to take. The girl took Marla's hand, and dragged her to pip (Marla quite liked how her hands fit into Cara's).

The two girls made their way over to pip, who looked frightened. "Naomi's wasted and acting weird, I've put her in the car." Cara told pip, turning her around. What did max do to her? Marla thought, knowing all the crazy shit he would and can do. "Pip, are you okay?—" Marla cut herself off when she saw pip touching her nose like it was gone.

"Uhm—pip?" Cara tried, but didn't get a response. The two taller girls looked at each other, furrowing their eyebrows. "We need to go."

"Dark forces are at work here." Pip said strangely, "A good-looking man just tried to steal my nose."

"What good looking man?" Cara and Marla chuckled, "Are you drunk?" Cara and Marla asked in synced, glancing at each other, but looking back at pip. "What?" Pip asked confusingly. "No, no I only had 5 teeny, tiny drinks, like thimbles. Marla laughed, "Wow, that's a new one for you pip." Cara nodded, taking both the girls arms and linking them with her. "Okay, let's go."

PIP AND CARA GOT INTO A FIGHT, LEAVING CARA AND MARLA LEFT TO BE. Marla glanced at Cara, who had a sad and betrayed look on her face. "You okay..?" Marla asked softly, and Cara nodded. "Yeah." Marla knew she was lying, "Come on." Marla grabbed Cara's arm, and lead her out of the party. "Where are we going?"

"Let's get ice cream, it'll make you feel better."

"Not in these outfits, we have to change first." Cara softly smiled, and Marla looked at both of their ridiculous outfits. "Yeah—you're right."

THE DUO CHANGED AND WALKED DOWN TO THE ICE CREAM SHOP. "Hello, what may I get you today?" The cashier asked, looking at the two girls. "Uhm, I'll get chocolate please." Marla said, and looked at the girl next to her. "Oh, uhm, I'll get vanilla."

"Okay! Is that all for today?" Marla nodded, Cara was gonna pay, but Marla stopped her. "Nuh-uh." The girl shook her head. "It's okay, I got it." Marla said, taking out her wallet and paying for the ice cream." Cara looked down, flustered from the gesture (For unknown reason).

The cashier gave them their ice cream, "Have a good one." Marla and Cara thanked her, and walked outside of the store. They sat on a nearby bench. The two girls sat in silence, but it was a comfortable silence. "So, why did pip make you go to the Hastings party?" Marla tried starting off, "No clue, she made me come though."

Marla chuckled, taking glances at the girl next to her admiring her. "Your pretty, you know." Marla smirked at seeing the girl blush. Cara rolled her eyes at Marla's ego, "Your annoying." Marla scoffed, but the smile never leaving her face. "You love me, pretty girl."

"No I don't."

"Yeah, you do."
