Because I'm a nerdy Swiftie, I will now add a song lyric (normally Taylor swift, but sometimes other artists) to the begining and end of each oneshot. please vote if you like the story and have fun reading!

'But something happened, I heard him laughing, I saw the dimples 1st and then I heard the accent, they say home is where the heart is, but that's not where mine lives.'

"MOM!" Dex yelled from his room, where his siblings were harassing him. "Help! The triplets are-"

Lex jammed a snowball into his mouth, successfully muffling his voice. Rex pulled his legs out from under him, and Bex's head popped out of the floor, scaring Dex have to death.

"Dex?!" his mom responded from downstairs, "I'm coming!"

The triplets, oblivious, continued their plight to torture their brother.

Just when Lex was about to freeze his head to the ground in an ice block however, his mom finally barged into the room.

" Lex, Rex, and Bex Dizznee, get off your brother right now!"

As she had probably expected, but hoped against, nothing happened. She responded by twisting her hands, and each of them were propelled backwards, gently banging into walls.

She melted the snowball in Dex's mouth, and helped him up before locking eyes with him, and saying, "Biana just got here. Did you invite her?"

OH.

Dex resisted the temptation to run to a mirror and fix how he looked. He inwardly cursed the triplets, who had gone into a chorus of, "OOOOH," and, "YOUR GIRLFRIEND'S HERE, DEX!"

His mom shot them each a glare, and they're words morphed into silent giggling.

"No, I actually don't know why she's here." Dex said, wracking his brain -which had become annoyingly flighty at her name- for a reason. " I guess we should let her in."

"Your dad already did." His mom responded.

"Oh." Dex said, his heart beating too quickly.

His mom stared at him for a minute, before turning on her heel and walking downstairs.

Dex, since he was not a Froster like his mother, slipped down the stairs. On black ice. Finally, after falling off the last stair, he fortunately landed in a pile of snow that his mom had made to cushion his fall the second she turned around and realized her son was falling down the stairs that she had glided down perfectly.

Unfortunately, he happened to land at the feet of the Queen of Sparkles herself.

Biana, suppressing laughter, offered him her hand to help him up.

Dex took it, his face turning bright red, and got to his feet.

"So, Biana," his dad said. "What are you doing here, exactly?"

Biana shrugged. "I just wanted to see Dex. Also, Sophie wants to have this BIG meeting tomorrow, and I wanted to talk to him about it beforehand."

"What's the meeting about?" his dad was being nosy now, and Dex did not like it.

"Uh..." Biana was clearly hesitant to tell them. "You know, Team Valiant post Neverseen defeat stuff. The usual."

His mom elbowed his dad to shut him up when he opened his mouth to ask another question, and Dex said, after some awkward silence, "Why don't we go talk outside? The triplets are probably tearing apart my room, and I don't think the rest of the house is safe now that Rex is mastering skill training, and the others are mastering their abilities so..."

Biana nodded, and smiled beautifully at him. "Okay, let's go." she said.

She turned around and walked out the door, and Dex followed at her heels.

The glittery snow was falling slowly, and, as always, the land around Dex's house looked like a winter wonderland.

"So," said Dex, as soon as they were out of your shot of the house, "What's this meeting really about?"

Biana took a deep breath, and then said, "The matchmaking system."

"Oh." said Dex quietly. "And why did you need to talk with me now?"

"Because... I don't want to sign up. for matchmaking, I mean."

Dex stared and stared at her, and Biana stared and stared at him, waiting for his reaction.

"Well, I don't either." he said after a second. Then he said, "why? why don't you? I mean, doesn't the whole Vacker World circulate around it?"

Biana looked away, and the annoyance in her eyes showed that he had most definitely said the wrong thing. "I don't want to. I mean, my whole life has been based off of the Vacker legacy. But... I want to be my own person. Not to mention that the matchmaking system is corrupt and unfair. And I don't want to be a part of that."

Dex smiled slightly, and then said, "Well, that's really brave, Biana."

"Yeah, well, anyway," she said, tossing her hair and smiling at him slightly. "The person I like isn't signing up either, sooooo..."

Dex's breath caught in his throat, and his whole world seemed to stop, if only for a moment. There was only him, hi's beating heart, and Biana.

"And... who is that lucky person?" he forced out, realizing how stupid it sounded just as it came out of his mouth, and how obviously it pointed to the fact that he wanted it to be him.

"Lucky?" Biana asked, catching his slip with a smile, "And what exactly does that mean?"

Dex went for it. "That... whoever is lucky enough to be liked by you is... the luckiest person in the world." his words were breathed, not fully spoken, and as he said then, his face turned tomato red.

"Well then," Biana said, her face inches from his. "You, Dex, are the luckiest person in the world."

Dex shortened the distance between them, and, with no hesitation, Biana got rid of the gap completely.

Her lips hit his, and, on contact, Dex knew that this was... right.

With Biana, there was a spark. with Biana, his hands laced perfectly into her hair. With Biana, their faces fit together in the cutest way, and their noses definitely didn't bump.

With Biana... he felt perfect.

Her arms wrapped around his waist, and their breathing fell into sync. She tasted like lushberry juice, and smelled amazing, like spring.

When she pulled away, she stared at him for a second, and then kissed him again, like she couldn't get enough of him.

And, from that moment on, the lives of Dex Dizznee and Biana Vacker changed.

Because of each other.

Because they were in love.

'You pull me in and I'm a little more brave, It's the 1st kiss, It's flawless, Really something, It's fearless.'
