Hi! Sorry this took so long, but here it is! Koralie! my personal favorite ship. This is from a longer Koralie fanfiction that I'll put on wattpad someday soonish, but its kind of in a diary entry in that, so I wanted to go into more detail. Please vote if you like the story!

'I know that you like me, And it's kind of frightening, Standing here waiting, Waiting, And I become hypnotized, by freckles and bright eyes, Tongue tied.'

"Oh! Kenric! Hi!" Oralie mentally slapped herself for how she had spoken, and the way she had just bumped into the guy she was speaking to.

"Oralie! Hey!" Kenric said, his words coming out SO much more smoothly than her's had that she wanted to slap him, too.

He'd barely spoken a word to her since the day at the sanctuary, and having him this close to her made her heart leap.

The day at the sanctuary had been 1 week ago. They had been flying on Greyfell, and, on seeing the terror in Oralie's face, Kenric had told her that she could wrap her arms around him.

She had, and the onslaught of feeling she felt on contact... that's when she knew that he liked her.

He had, remembering her empathy, turned to look at her with the question in his eyes: "How do you feel, Oralie?"

And she had nodded.

Because with her arms wrapped around him and their bodies so close and his eyes looking into hers... she finally understood what she'd been feeling for him.

She had buried her face in his neck then, and laughed, because she liked him, and he liked her back, and they were flying on a glittery horse.

Then, they had hit the ground, and prepared to face the consequences.

And they hadn't talked for a week, though he had practically radiated kindness towards her.

And now- "Oralie, do you want to meet me tonight in Atlantis?" Kenric asked, sharply yanking her from her thoughts and back into reality, which was... far better than she had left it.

Because if she hadn't misread him, he was asking her out on a date. Tonight.

"Ye-yes!" Oralie couldn't hold back her smile. "Where?"

Kenric shrugged. "Just meet me at the city's entrance at 7:00? I'll take you somewhere!"

Oralie smiled widely, and let him walk by her to wherever he was going.

But as he left, he did something. He let his hand brush her's.

Which took away any sneaking suspicion that he hadn't spoken to her in the last week because he didn't like her like that.

In fact, it seemed quite the opposite.

Oralie shot out of Atlantis's entrance to find Kenric already waiting.

A punctual Kenric. That was unusual.

He was grinning at her, and waved. She waved back, her heart beating a WHOLE lot faster than it should have been.

"Hey!" she called out, running over to him.

"Hi, Oralie!" Kenric said, before explaining, "So basically, I'ma take you to dinner. Somewhere I think you'll love." He paused, and then finished by saying, "As besties, of course!" He winked at her, snatched her hand, and started running, pulling her along behind him.

And when he touched her... all of his emotions hit her. So hard.

His giddiness.

His happiness.
