Ever since my younger sister Eva and Mel-Mel opened "The Oasis", there has always been demand for new talent to join the club. The hiring process consisted of three phases...the application, the call-backs, and the audition. So, everyone who would be coming into the club was already screened and approved for a live audition by Melissa beforehand. Usually, the audition consisted of an on-stage tryout in front of a small audience (most often Melissa and Eva), or in some cases, something a bit more intimate. Tryouts were held once a month and were usually supervised by Melissa and Eva. However, Melissa was out-of-town this time around, so she asked Sapphire and I to fill in for her.
There are three separate job classes for workers here, depending on the individual's comfort level. First, there was the "Bronze" level, which were strictly on-stage performers. They basically worked like strippers, dancing on-stage for tips and giving lap dances with no direct sexual contact. The next level up was the "Silver" level, who could offer sexual favors in exchange for money. For a lucky handful, there was also the "Gold" level, who could perform on-stage and have sex for money. Generally speaking, new employees started at either the bronze or silver level (depending on whether they were willing to have sex with random individuals) and work their way up to a gold ranking with enough experience and good reviews.
Eva explained to us that she needed two replacement females at the Silver level, since one of the female workers got pregnant and left the club to raise her family and the other was promoted to Gold status. The club also needed one more Silver-level male, since Eva and Melissa felt that there weren't enough of them already.
We were all gathered at the lobby on the lower level of the club, near the main entrance. The interior of the lobby was decorated in a tropical motif with a mural of the beach and ocean behind the front desk. There were also a couple of palm trees in the lobby (artificial ones) standing next to a turquoise-colored couch. The Oasis consisted of three levels, with the bottom level being the strip club featuring female performers, the second level being the strip club with male performers, and the third level being reserved for the dressing rooms. Each of the bottom two levels had a total of 12 private suites and six "bedrooms" for Silver and Gold-level performers could take clients for sex acts.
At 11 AM, Eva unlocked the front door to the club, allowing prospective workers to come in for the on-site auditions. It didn't take very long before our first two prospects walked into the lobby. A male/female Cinderace pair walked into the club, both of them holding hands while doing so. I had never seen a Cinderace in person, though I did know of their kind through the Pokédex that Dr. Tajiri provided a long time ago.
They seemed to be related, since I noticed they both had the same color eyes. The female had blonde hair, done in the same style that Charlene did her hair, with the ponytail in the back held in place by a bright red ribbon. The male was a little over 6 feet tall and was athletic in nature, slender and agile-looking, typical traits of his kind. The female was also slender and agile, though she had slightly more weight around her hips. She also seemed to have sizable breasts hidden underneath the black top she wore, going along with the black pants with flames on them. The male was dressed in blue jeans and a simple black T-shirt.
The couple came up to the desk where Eva, Sapphire, and I were, and each presented their UIC Territory ID's. Since Eva was in charge, she was the one to address the couple. "Hello, love! My sister an' I have come for our audition", the male cinderace spoke, with a noticeable British accent. There were not a whole lot of Brits on Kapernia, and most of the ones that did visit or live here were humans. However, there were parts of Kapernia (mostly on the Kapernian Mainland) where individuals talked in British-like accents, so I figured they must've been originally from there.
