"What!?" You screamed at the scared brunette.

"Good morning to you too (Y/N)," Eren sarcastically spoke.

"(Y/N)! Is it true?!" Mikasa asked from behind.

"What is?" You scratched your eyelids.

"About you and Armin? Is it true that you both are going on a date?" Eren answered with a question.

"Well more of a hang out."

"Oh that's bad..." Eren hissed under his breath.

"What? Why?"

"His girlfriend isn't gonna like this..." Mikasa followed.

"G-Girlfriend?!"

---

"Uh yeah! Oh wait, you are still kind of new to this school...," Eren pointed out.
"If I were you, you would stay away at all costs. She looks like she doesn't care but dang she's insane."

"Nice to know," you strangely looked at them.
"But that won't stop me from having fun."

"Well, don't say we didn't warn you," Mikasa said with a concerned look.

"I'll be fine," you smirked crossing your arms.

"If you say so. Well see ya tomorrow at school," Eren waved as he left with Mikasa. You closed the door and layed once again on the couch.

"So does that mean I have competition? Wait what am I saying!?" You shot up and ran to the bathroom. You jumped into the shower and turned on the freezing water, getting that thought out of your head.

"Maybe this would have been a better idea if I stripped before getting in," you said looking at your, now soaked, pajamas.

You wrapped your hair in a towel and dropped your pjs in the sink. You slid on your undergarments along with a pair of jeans and a sweater. Your apartment was always cold, even if you did turn up the heat. You walked out the bathroom and sat at the kitchen table. You opened you laptop and finished your essay for Petra-Sensei's class.

You laid back in your chair and admired your work.

"Huh, I'm done and it's only 2:00, might as well do something productive," you stood up and grabbed your wallet. You brushed your hair and walked out the door.

"Good afternoon Petra," you said with a smile once you went down the stairs.

"Good afternoon (Y/N), where are you off to?"

"The bookstore, I need to pick out more books."

"You're already done with the five you bought last month?"

"Yeppers, see ya later," you walked the door. The streets were the emptiest you've ever seen them. The bookstore was close by so there was no need to take the bus. It was only about five buildings down and you were thankful for it. You swung the doors as the smell of crisp pages smacked you in the face.

"I'm home," you whispered. Two stories of imagination awaited you. You waltzed over to the Science Fiction section and looked for a book that you've been dying to read; The 5th Wave. You couldn't find it, maybe it was in the Realistic
Section considering it was about aliens.

You went up to an employee and asked were you could find the book. He turned around and he gave you quite a shock.

"Oh hey (Y/N)," the blondie smiled.

"Armin? You work here?"

"Yeah, I never mentioned it?"

"Hell naw to the naw naw."

"Haha, sorry. So, what are you looking for?"

"The 5th Wave, is it in the Fiction section?"

"Oh sorry (Y/N), I think you're a little too late. The book sold out this morning. Considering that it's gonna be a movie next year, I guess people wanted to read what it was about," he hissed.

You stood in silence until Armin waved his hand in front of your face.

"Uh (Y/N)?" You dropped to your knees, still having that spaced out look. You raised both fists and yelled a huge no. People all around you shushed as you whimpered on the floor.

"Uh (Y/N)? I could always lend you my book you know that right?" You got off the floor and brushed the dirt off yourself. You cleared your throat before speaking.

"Thank you Armin, that means a lot."

"Yeah no problem, hey my break's almost coming, you wanna catch a coffee?" Just as you were about to accept the offer, another blonde barged into the conversation.

"Hey Armin you ready to go shopping," she asked with an expressionless face.

"Um Annie? My break isn't really used to go shopping...."

"Oh well, that's too bad," she grabbed his wrist and dragged him out the door, leaving you there without responding.
