Unanswered
Despite her clothes and hair dripping with water as the strong rainfall covered the place, she stood at the edge of the bridge with her eyes locked at the seemingly dark abyss beneath it. She could not see what lay down there, yet the river's roars whispered danger that even the most expert of men could not survive.
Not before long, flashes of lightning crossed the vast sky, giving her a quick yet enough glimpse of it.
Surging current. Protruding boulders.
"Deadly," she barely spoke before another flash of lightning came by. "So... Why would they throw me in there?"
