As they spoke, the princess took a step forward, her small voice  carrying across the room. ' I know what you have done,' she said, her words dripping with accusation. ' And I won't let you get away with it.''  The princess' words hung in the air like a challenge. Lady Victoria's smile faltered for a moment before she regained her composure. " And what exactly do you think you know, little princess?'' she sneered.

The princess stood tall, her small frame radiating determination. ' I know you killed my mother and poisoned the king. And I know you're planning to take the throne for yourself.'' Lady Victoria's eyes narrowed. ' And what do you plan to do about it, hmm? You're just a blind child, what can you possibly do to stop me?''

The Princess' face set in a fierce expression. ' I may be blind but I'm not helpless. And I'll fight you with every breath in my body.'  Lady Victoria laughed, a cold, mirthless sound. '' You're no match for me, child. I will crush you like the insignificant insect that you are.''

The princess took a step forward, her eyes flashing with defiance. '' I'm not afraid you, Lady Victoria and I won't back down.'' Lady Victoria's gaze lingered on the princess, a flicker of admiration in her eyes. ' You know, I almost admire your spirit. You're a true warrior, despite your....limitations.'

The princess's smile chin lifted. ' I won't be intimidated and I won't be defeated.' Lady Victoria's smile returned, her voice dripping with malice. " We'll see about that, little princess. You may have the spirit, but I have the power and soon, I'II have the throne.''

Her words hung in the air, a veiled threat that sent a shiver down the princess' spine but the princess refused to back down, her determination and courage fueling her next move. '' I will never let you take the throne,' the princess declared, her voice firm and resolute. ' I'll fight you every step of the way.''

Lady Victoria's smile grew wider, her eyes glinting with excitement. 'I'm looking forward to it,' she purred. 'But first, I think its time for you to take a little....nap.' With a flick of her wrist, she signaled to the Duke, who stepped forward, a small vial of liquid in his hand. The princess' eyes widened as she realized their intention.

'' No! she cried, trying to step back but it was too late. The Duke grabbed her, holding her in a tight grip as Lady Victoria approached, the vial poised to strike.

Lord Thomas strode into the room, his tall, imposing figure commanding attention. His piercing blue eyes scanned the scene before him, his gaze lingering on the princess' ridden expression. His strong jawline was set in a firm line, his lips pressed together in a thin, disapproving line.

'' What's going on here? he demanded, his deep voice firm and authoritative. His eyes narrowed as he took in the sight of the vial in Lady Victoria's hand, his mind racing with possibilities.
