As Princess Hazel stood before Prince Hendrick and Hartson, she played the role of the innocent blind princess to perfection. She looked up at them with a confused expression, her eyes wide with fear.

"I-I was just looking for a glass of water," she stammered, her voice trembling. " I just...I couldn't sleep, and I was thirsty."

Prince Hendrick's eyes narrowed, but he seemed to buy her excuse. "Very well, Princess," he said, his voice dripping with scepticism. "We'll have someone bring you water. But for now, let's focus on what you might have overheard."

Hazel played along, her heart racing with fear and anger. She shook her head, her face a picture of innocence. "I didn't hear anything, I swear. I was just...lost in thought."

Hartson looked at her with a mixture of concern and suspicion, but Prince Hendrick seemed to believe her. "Very well, Princess," he said finally. "We'll let it go for now. Hartson,  escort her back to her room."

As Hartson led her out of the chambers, Hazel felt a pang of disappointment and anger. She had fallen for his act, believing him to be her rescuer and her love. But now she realized that it was all a ruse, a clever plan to manipulate her and use her for their own gain.

As they walked back to her room, Hazel's heart felt heavy with betrayal. She knew she had to be careful, to play along and pretend to be the innocent princess they thought she was. But deep down, she was seething with anger and hatred. She would not rest until she had her revenge.

Once they reached her room, Hartson bid her goodnight, his voice soft and gentle. But Hazel's heart had changed. She no longer saw him as the man she loved, but as a deceitful manipulator who had used her for his own gain.

As she sat in the darkness of her room, Hazel's mind began to spin with plans and strategies. She would play along, pretend to be the innocent princess they thought she was. But she would also gather information, wait for the perfect moment to strike, and then she would unleash her wrath upon them.

Her heart was now a cauldron of emotions, filled with hatred, anger, and a desire for revenge. She would not rest until she had destroyed them all and reclaimed her rightful place on the throne. The game had changed, and Hazel was ready to play.
