Bright as the moon

Chapter 16 Youth

While we were enjoying this view, I suddenly thought of going to see Kib and Xyria.
        
"Hey Lily, do you still remember Kib and Xyria?"
"Ow yeah, those two lovebirds."
"Do you want to visit them?"
"Oh yeah, sure."
"I'll just call Kib to pick us up."
       
After I finished talking to Kib, we went to the shop to return the bike, and we will wait for Kib in the waiting shade.
        
"Rome, are you sure it's okay for Kib to pick us up?"
"Yep, and he said that if I want to go to them, I should just call him."
"oh ok"
"It looks like he's here."
 
After we waited for a long time, Kib arrived, and Xyria was with him.
        
"Hey guys, long time no see."
"Hello, Xyria, remember me?"
"Of course I remember you; you are the only one who is the smartest in the classroom, Lily."
      
I saw the joy of the two when they saw each other again.
        
"Rome, Emily said that we should eat at their house; is that okay with you?"
"Ow, yeah, sure."
"let's go"
       
We left, and Xyria talked to Lily about what happened to her and why she suddenly disappeared.
        
"What happened to you, Lily?"
"Oh, long story."
"It's better if you tell us what happened."
"I'll tell you when we get to Emily."
        
When we got to Emily's place, Emily immediately greeted us and suddenly hugged Lily.
 
"What happened to you, Lily?"
"Hello Emily, I miss you."
"I thought you were dead, but my husband saw you."
"Yeah, it's good that I met Ivan."
 
Lily told the story of what happened to her, and everyone was surprised. 
        
"You know this, Rome?"
"Yes, and I really thought she was married when she disappeared."
 
We didn't focus too much on Lily's past, so I just told them that if they want to go back to the good memories we made in our youth
        
"Guys, maybe you want to go back to the good memories we made?"
"That's good, but Xyria and I still have plans; maybe next time when it's not busy."
 
I noticed that everyone was really busy, so I didn't force them. There is still next time, but I only have 4 days before our mission.
        
"Rome, Lily, and you are the only ones who have good youth memories."
"Lily is also busy; she only had free time today."
  
We decided to go home because it was getting late; we didn't notice the time because we were still having fun. 
        
"Hey guys, let's go home."
"Yeah, Rome was right; its getting late now."
       
Kib drove us to the dorm, and we said goodbye to Kib and Xyria. 
        
"Hey Kib, be careful when you get home; you've had a little to drink too."
"Don't worry"
       
They left, and Lily and I entered the dorm, and I talked to her.
 
"Did you have fun today?"
"Yes, I'm happy to see them again."
"Are you tired? Sit down first."
"It's ok, I'm not tired; Kib drove us, so I still have some energy."
 
I noticed that it was very bright in the window; it was the full moon today. 
        
"Hey Lily, did you know it's a full moon today?"
"Yep, I noticed earlier when we were going home."
"Let's move the couch here so we can watch."
 
Lily and I watched the beautiful moon all night, and nothing has really changed; it's still beautiful, like her smiles since we met when we were young. 
        
As I stare at the moon, I feel like I'm more worried about Lily than myself. What if I die when our mission starts? I know she can take care of herself, but he also needs me sometimes, so I hope I don't die in our mission.
