Celia Amesford POV:
"Please, Ron. Try to understand me." I sighed, standing over Ron who was seated beside a quiet Ginny. "Understand that you were making out with Berkshire?" He spat. I shook my head. "I wasn't. I told you— he was and is my best friend! 17 years, Ron. That's how long I've known him! I don't forgive him for what we he did— but please, give him a chance for me." I sighed, my eyes shifting to Hermione and Harry.

"Okay." Hermione sighed. "Really?" I sighed in relief. "I don't want him to hurt you the way he hurt me, Celia." Ginny said. "He won't— and plus, we're just friends." I shrugged. "Yeah, right." Enzo said. Ginny rolled her eyes, pulling me in for a hug. "He'll warm up soon." She whispered as I nodded.

I sat in Charms class on an empty seat. Hermione and Ron were seated a few rows below. "Mr. Berkshire. You're late." My ears perked up as I looked around for him. Enzo quickly gave him an unapologetic-apology before sitting beside me. "Good morning, pretty girl." He said with a wink. I raised a brow, scoffing out a laugh. "Uhm.. hello." I responded.

"What's the sudden affection for?" I asked. He laughed. "Just doing things I wish I'd done seven years ago." He said. ".. okay." I said slowly, turning my attention to the class. Why was he acting so weird.

Once class ended, Enzo grabbed my wrist before I could walk towards Hermione. "Come with me?" He said. I nodded, unable to speak with the feeling of his hand wrapped around mine. I'm sure it was on purpose that he made us walk through the eyeline of Hermione and Ron.. I'm also sure Ron muttered a curse at him.

"Where are we going?" I giggled, finding myself on a small valley filled with roses and flower. There was a stream of waterfalls, a rainbow through the sky.. blossoming trees, harmless magical creatures. "Wow." Is all I could get out as I took in the place.

"What is this place?" I asked Enzo. He smiled. "Our place." He answered, grabbing a few roses. "Here, princess." He said, holding out a beautiful bouquet of roses in all colors. "Pretty flowers, for a pretty girl." I chuckled, taking the flowers from him. "Thank you, Enz." I replied.

He began talking about his friends. I wasn't listening. I was staring at him.. in awe. I always knew I had a crush on Enzo when we were younger.. but now it feels more than that. I look down at the flowers in my hands, sliding my hand down one of the stems before I felt a thorn prickle my skin.

"Shit." I winced, grabbing his attention. "Here." He said, lending out his hand as I placed mine on it. "Just a small cut." He said, slowly caressing his thumb over my bleeding finger. The blood slowly stopped. "Thank you. Again." I clear my throat, snatching my hand away. No, I am not in love with Enzo.
