It had been a week since that quiet night of revelations between Gemini and Fourth. The unspoken barrier that had always lingered between them had crumbled, and in its place was something far more real, far more intimate. Fourth could feel the change in Gemini—he was warmer, more attentive, as if the power dynamic between them had subtly shifted. Fourth found himself returning Gemini's feelings, though he hadn't yet said the words aloud. There was a comfort in their closeness, a certainty that they were more than just an arrangement now.

Today, Fourth decided to surprise Gemini at his office. It wasn't unusual for him to drop by, but this time, there was a nervous flutter in his chest. He missed Gemini, and after the events of the last week, he felt more connected to him than ever. As the elevator rose to the top floor, Fourth smiled to himself, imagining Gemini's reaction when he saw him.

But as the doors slid open and Fourth stepped into Gemini's office, that sense of excitement was ripped away in an instant.

There, in front of him, was a woman. Straddling Gemini. Her body pressed against him, her face dangerously close to his. Fourth froze, his heart plummeting. Time seemed to slow as he took in the sight, the warmth in his chest immediately replaced by a cold, sinking feeling.

For a moment, Fourth didn't know what to do. He could feel his hands trembling slightly, but like a switch, his face shifted into the mask he wore so well—the flirtatious, carefree facade that had always protected him.

With a smile that didn't reach his eyes, Fourth spoke, his voice smooth but distant. "I didn't know you had a guest, Daddy. I'm sorry for interrupting."

He turned to leave, his heart pounding, but before he could take more than a few steps, he heard Gemini's voice—sharp and urgent.

"Fourth wait, you get the fuck out!" Gemini's tone was commanding, a tone Fourth had heard many times before, but this time, it was different. There was an edge of desperation in it.

Fourth stopped but didn't turn around. He heard the woman scrambling, quickly grabbing her things and hurrying out of the room without so much as a glance at him. The door closed behind her with a soft click, leaving only Fourth and Gemini in the thick, suffocating silence.

Gemini moved toward Fourth, his steps quick and determined. "Fourth, it's not what you think."

Fourth clenched his jaw, willing himself not to react, not to let Gemini see the crack in his composure. He kept his back to Gemini, his voice calm, almost detached. "It doesn't matter."

But Gemini wasn't letting this go. He reached out, grabbing Fourth's arm gently but firmly, his voice low, insistent. "If you don't believe me, we can check the CCTV. You'll see I didn't—"

Fourth finally turned, cutting him off, his eyes hard though the hurt simmered beneath the surface. "No, it's okay. Like I said, it doesn't matter. I'm just your sugar baby, right? This was always the deal."

The words stung even as they left his lips, the bitterness of them unexpected. Fourth had never imagined himself saying those things, not after the past week, not after everything that had changed between them.

Gemini's eyes darkened with frustration, his hand still gripping Fourth's arm. "No, you're more than that, and you know it."

Fourth scoffed softly, his gaze dropping for a moment before flicking back to Gemini's face. "Do I, Daddy?"

Gemini's expression softened, his grip on Fourth's arm loosening slightly. "Yes. You do."

There was a long pause, the tension between them thick enough to cut. And then, as if he had been holding back for too long, Gemini spoke, the words heavy with a vulnerability Fourth had never heard from him before.

"I love you, Fourth."

Fourth's world stopped. The words echoed in his mind, and for a moment, he wasn't sure if he had heard them correctly.

He had never expected this. Not from Gemini, the man who was always in control, always measured. Gemini had never needed to say those words to maintain their relationship, and yet here he was, saying them anyway. Fourth's heart raced, his mind struggling to catch up. Even when Gemini has said that he want fourth, he didn't exactly said he love him.

"You... love me?" Fourth whispered, the disbelief clear in his voice.

Gemini nodded, his eyes locking with Fourth's, unblinking, intense. "Yes. I need you to understand—what you saw just now, it wasn't what it looked like. I would never hurt you like that."

Fourth felt a rush of emotions—relief, fear, confusion—all battling for control inside him. He had come to terms with his own feelings for Gemini over the past week, but hearing Gemini confess his love was something he hadn't been prepared for.

Slowly, he let out a shaky breath, his eyes softening as he looked up at Gemini. "I didn't think you—" He paused, swallowing hard. "I didn't think you'd ever say that."

Gemini's hand moved from Fourth's arm to his cheek, his thumb gently brushing against his skin. "I should've said it sooner. But I'm saying it now."

Fourth's heart fluttered, the fear and doubt that had plagued him since walking into Gemini's office beginning to fade. He still didn't know what had happened with that woman, but right now, in this moment, all that mattered was what Gemini was saying to him.

"I don't want anyone else, Fourth," Gemini continued, his voice steady. "Not now, not ever."

For the first time since entering the room, Fourth felt the tightness in his chest ease. The hurt was still there, but the love in Gemini's eyes was real, undeniable. And Fourth couldn't deny his own feelings any longer.

"I love you too, Daddy," Fourth whispered, his voice barely audible, but it was enough.

Gemini's eyes softened, and in that moment, all the tension, the fear, the doubt melted away. He leaned down, pressing his lips to Fourth's in a kiss that was soft but filled with the weight of everything they had just admitted to each other.

When they pulled away, Fourth smiled softly, the warmth returning to his chest. The game they had been playing was over, and in its place was something far more real, far more meaningful.

They stood there for a moment longer, the weight of the world outside the office disappearing as they held each other close, knowing that whatever came next, they were in it together.
