Walking down the grey side walk, all the buildings seemed grey, like there was a sickness on it..the people were all in the Buildings, all the windows wee covered or some so dusty that you couldn't see through them.
"I don't really like this town." Sugar whispered.
"I feel everyone is watching us from the building." Harriet said, we were the only ones outside on the side walk, there were even cars driving by. We all stocked together, having the fear that someone would jump us.
"The diner." Sugar whispered, Harriet and I looked at sugar, but then she pointed out diner.
"Didn't aunt Mabel tell us about it?" I asked Sugar, my sister nodded her head and we all headed towards the diner. But then my mind just told me.
Turn around
But I didn't, then we reached to the door. And I opened it slowly. Dust covered the diner, cobwebs on the dishes and plates, raccoons were running around, no one was here. There are holes all over the floor.
Harriet walked around, then she sat on one of the bar seats. There was a bell next to her, and she slowly and softly rang the bell.
Nothing, then I sat next to her and we both just looked around.
"what happened to this place?" I said. Harriet shrugged and sighed.
"I don't know."
CRASH
Harriet squeezed my arm and I wrapped my arm around her as Plates and dishes fell to the ground, and came from the kitchen was a skinny, boned, pale, and creepy lady. She was skinny as a stick, and had one eye closed...wait, I know who this lady is. My parents told me about her.
It's lazy Susan.
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE!" She screamed. Harriet squeezed my arm a little bit more, Sugar walked to me and squeezed my other arm.
"WELL...DIPPER, CARAMEL, and...whoever you are." Susan said, I was hesitate but then I stuttered.
"We're not Dipper and Caramel but were their children."
Lazy Susan then looked at me and Sugar with surprised...she placed her hand on her hips and then muttered.
"Well then, never knew this day would come."
"What's going on with the town?" Harriet asked, lazy Susan snorted and said.
"This town has been under a curse."
"What does that mean?" Sugar asked.
"THIS PLACE IS MESSED UP." Lazy Susan screamed, then she smacked some more plates off the shelf, smashing them to the ground.
"AND THERES NO FIXING IT!"
But then Harriet spoke up.
"Who cursed the town?"
Then Susan stopped....and slowly looked at Harriet. Then walked closer to Harriet, leaning in and looked at her. Then she started to shake all over the place, backing not up against one of the plates and dishes.
"HE DID IT, HE CURSED US, YOUR ONE OF THEM....D-D-DEMONS...HE CURSED US AND IS AFTER DIPPER!"
The three of us started to back up, Harriet and Sugar we're starting to freak out.
"Why is he after our dad?" I asked, then the lady stopped. Her eyes went glowing yellow, and she turned into something like the grudge ( that's for your imagination to decide what she looks like as the grudge!)
"THE JOURNALS! HE WANTS TO POWER ALL! THE APOCALYPSE IS HAPPENING!"
Then she charged at us, all of us screamed and sprinted out of there. Slamming the door as she was about to make it outside. She pounded against the door and screamed.
"THE POWER OF KNOWLEDGE IS WHAT HE WANTS!"
Then stopped, we ran as far away from the diner. Then we stopped as we lost our breath.
"What did she mean the power of knowledge?" Sugar asked. Then I sat down, as then realized something.
"The power of knowledge is...the portal."
