Chapter Eighteen

Dipper
As we all stood there, crying over the death of Harriet. Something was different, the place was starting to get its color back....then out of no where a ray of sun peeked out, I covered my eyes to look at it a little bit closer, there was a hole in the portal. Then I felt like what Gravity Falls was really like, the birds were chirping, I could hear the crickets..but also the strange noises that were in the woods as well, just like last time...all those years ago. Caramel places her head in my shoulder.
"I think....Gravity Falls is released from the curse.....Dipper........it's over."
Then I realized, bill was gone. Completely gone, I don't have to worry and be terrified for my family anymore......were free, I pulled her into a hug and we both started to sob, for Harriet but also for happiness...cause Bill is gone, We fell to our knees, but we still were hugging.
"We don't have to fight anymore." I whispered in her ear. She slightly smiled. But then we both went into sobs.
Noah then pointed at the sun and Sugar said.
"What going on?"
"Is the curse gone?" Noah whispered.
Then they ran for it, Caramel and I ran after them, waning to see what Gravity Falls now has become.
As we went up the elevator and ran up the stairs I stopped at the door to the exit...Caramel nodded and we both sighed....and I slowly opened the door.
The gift shop was filled with color, happiness, and the sun was out. I could hear cars driving and parking at the parking not way, going for a tour.
I walked out, and closed the door and then walked outside. It was warm, not cold like what it was before. Caramel started to run to the path in the forest that we found when we were 15.
"Caramel wait!" I yelled after her, I ran through the path. Then as we made it to the field with flowers, I gasped with disbelief. There was the town, all collodion, people walking. Happy and cars driving, the sun was beaming out, and the trees were starting to return to their color. The smell of Pine Tree Sap was starting to return. And I smiled.
The gobble wonker was swimming in the distance in the lake, I swear I thought I saw merman do jumping in the air. I looked at the cornfield which still had the burnt up Gideon robot in pieces, but besides that....it was back to normal. But not one thing,
Harriet wasn't here to see what Gravity Falls was really like. And I feel terrible about it, but now that I'm thinking about it...she can see it. And she always will be there...in our hearts.
As I went back inside the mystery shack, I walked past by the mirror. Which the crack had been gone. And the mirror was just a normal mirror. But then I noticed something in the corner of my eye, and it was another note. I walked over and unfolded it. And what I saw made me smile.

You did good dipper, you protected the portal, sorry for your loss but....thank you

But as I looked back at the mirror, I smiled, stan was standing there. And was normal. Then waved. And said in his voice which made me give a slight shiver down my spine.
"You did good dipper, I just wanted to say I love you, I love Caramel, Mabel, and the family you made. Noah and Sugar will never know me but I'll always be there for you Dipper....good bye."
And he walked away form the mirror, and disappeared.

Noah
Three days after Harriet death, we buried her near a majestically graduated my parents found long ago. And as we said our last goodbyes. I pulled out s dark red rose and placed it in between her cold, pale hands. Then we buried her. I couldn't watch.
And my mother places the head stone and placed some roses down. We all did. After everyone left, I just sat there.
"Harriet.....I will always love you no matter what....okay I will never forget you, never....good bye Harriet."

Then I felt like if she was there, and felt like if she whispered.
"I will never forget you Noah."
And after I left and rejoined with my family who were waiting for me, I felt happiness in my heart.
"hey Noah! Were going to the diner!" my dad announced, and I nodded. And I started to smile. Knowing that Harriet will always be there...No matter what.

Then late at night, we all were packed up and we're ready to go back to Berlin. As my family were walking to the car and putting their stuff in the trunks. I just looked at the forest near Harriets grave, there were fireflies everywhere, the forest had a colorful most to it, but what made it more beautiful were the gemstones that glowed in the distance, which gave the trees a stuff more colorful view..
"Goodbye Gravity Falls...See you later Harriet." I whispered. Then I walked away, as my father placed the last suitcase and closed the trunk to our car. We all were already buckled up and ready for the long journey.
"Let's go!" My mother said, then my father started to engine..and began to drive away from the Mystery Shack.

Dipper
"Dipper.....I can't believe that's he's dead, after all this time, all those years
Of torture....were free." Caramel said, it was 12:00 in the morning, and the kids were fast asleep.
"I'm so sad that Harriet is dead...she was like family....she reminded me of-"
"Stan." We both breathed. No, Harriet died lie or anything, but she had the courage like Stan, the guys like Stan....had the power like Stan.
Caramel and I sat in a moment in silence, I looked ahead of the road and smile slightly, honestly...I think this may be the last of going here in this hallow sleepy town, which was full of mysteries.
"I miss you Stan......it was nice seeing you." I said, then I looked over for a split second at Caramel and chuckled softly, she also was passed out. Little pieces of her hair over her face, she was curled up.....she was the beautiful Caramel I know and always love.
Then as I looked at the trees one last time, I past the sign and glances at the old writing:
Leaving Gravity Falls
Nothing to see here
And I smiled.

One I will not announce the names but this one Cause this one will be released on August 20th!
And the book title is Called:
The Dreamscaper
this book caramel and the gang will not be in it, but it's based off the town of gravity falls and a book I made in sixth grade which was corny but this one will be better and more action! gonna have to wait!
