Chapter Ten

The three of us were siting in the attic, looking through the journals. Noah covered the window and locked the door. And Harriet covered the bookshelf in the attic with a blanket.
"The portal! Here it is!" Noah pointed out in Journal 1.
Harriet and I scooted closer to him and looked over his shoulder as he read about the portal, it was suppose to be for knowledge but it was too sting, his fellow workers gotten stuck and lost him, Bill cipher wanted the portal to start an apocalypse.
"I know he wanted to..but he never given information about the portal and what he would do with it." Harriet explained, I had journal three and was flipping through the pages but then one page caught my eye

I can't believe It, Grunkle Stan has been lying to Mabel and I all along cause Mabel found the code to a portal which brought back his brother. I hate him.

But then I saw another section again and it was a couple weeks later.

Even thought Stab lied to us, I forgive him. His brother and all of us are fixing the portal, and this time Stanley is using a key to start to machine, using the key will be able to make the power of knowledge turn on. It's dangerous but.....we need it to stop bill, if Bill finds t though. He will start an apocalypse. That will all humans, he hates us and wanted to stop us. But I have the key....but I gave it to Caramel....Cause she's the only one I trust........and I love her.

I looked and read the writings a couple more times, then realized who written it....it was Dad. When he was a young boy he written it, but why have they never told us about the portal? It doesn't make sense.
"Noah." I said quietly, he looked at me and then I said.
"Mom has the key to the portal."
I thought about it a little bit more and wondered where the key could be. Then it hit me, she always wore a necklace with a key tied to it.....and that's the key to the portal.
But then Noah gasp and looked at me.
"But doesn't....dad have the presidents key, which the key that can-"
"Open all doors!" We said together, then we heard the door knock. And we all were silent.
"kids its me.....your dad, um I would like the journals back if that's okay."
But something wasn't right about dad, his voice sounded different. But then the door turned and click, it was unlock. And he opened the door, his right eye was half gold color weed now. And he had a grin on his face.
"What's are you guys doing?" He asked,
"Just...reading about the gnomes." I spitted out, Noah and Harriet looked at me but then our dad walked in and then took out he hand.
"I would like the journals....please."
We all were silent but we all carefully closed the journals....and gave them to him. He smiled and walked out saying.
"Night kids." Then closed the door.
After he left, we all looked at each other and then Noah whispered.
"That's not him......Thad didn't sound or act like him...and has he always have a blog section in his hair or is that me?"
"Bill is possessing him." Harriet whispered.
Then we both looked at her.
"But your father is fighting back cause he would have been completely gold eyes right now."
We all sat there in silence, and. Then I just said.

"We need to find the portal."
"But how can we-" Noah said but didn't finish cause we already had the answer.. Aunt Mabel, cause I remember the writings that my father mention that Mabel found out what the code was to the portal.
