As Andre finishes packing his suitcase as Ernie Bate continues working while back at the hospital Matt and Gabby arrive back at there sons room as Andrea needs feeding while back in the room with Christie Sean and Jim whos feeling exhausted is getting a visit from Mr Blaine Abrahams.
As Matt waits outside the ward as Gabby's breastfeeding Andrea Mr Blaine Abrahams as walked in and is greeted by Matthew Casey. "Hello sir you must be Matthew Casey"Mr Abrahams says. "Thats right and you must be Mr Abrahams"Matt says. "Yes I am"Mr Abrahams said. "Let me take you to the room which is down the corridor and the room is first on the right on the adult ward"Matt says. As Matt takes Mr Abrahams to the room for his appointment with Christie and Sean regarding Jim's business. "Thanks Mr Casey for bringing me to the room"Mr Abrahams says. "No worries"Matt says. A Mr Abrahams enters the room and Matt goes back to his family.
Over at District 21 Hank Voight Alvin Olinsky Erin Lindsay Jay Halstead and Trudy Platt have arrived back from Wisconsin after attending the funeral of Laura Dawson. "Why don't we go and catchup with everyone before tomorrow's shift"Voight said. "Thats probably a good idea boss"Lindsay said. "We'll talk more later if not it will be on shift tomorrow"Platt says. As Voight Lindsay Halstead and Olinsky head upstairs while Platt goes and speaks to her boss who's been helping out while she's been away. "Hello boss I'm back"Platt says. "Hope everything went well in Wisconsin"boss asks. "Yes thank you"Platt says. "Why don't you go home to your husband and come back tomorrow"boss says. "Thanks boss"Platt says.
As Sergeant Trudy Platt leaves the District and heads home back in Wisconsin Lance and Lorna are having lunchtime with Brett Antonio Eva and Diego before they leave. "Thanks for the lunch guys"Brett says. "It's no problem"'Lance says. "Kids why don't you eat up then we can get on the road"Antonio says. "Yes dad"they both say. As Eva and Diego finish their sandwiches they both speak up. "Thank you Grandad and Nan for letting us stop here and for everything you've done for us since our mum died"Eva and Diego both say. As the clock now reads 2:30pm Lance and Lorna are waving off there grandchildren Eva and Diego with there dad Antonio and friend Brett as they leave Wisconsin Brett messages best friend Gabby Casey who's at the hospital with her family seeing Louie answers her cell phone. "Hello Brett"Gabby says. "How's Louie doing"Brett asks. "He's doing very well happy to see us all"Gabby says. "Thats good news"Brett said. "Yes it is just waiting for Louie to get discharged and on the other side we've had some bad news about Jim"Gabby says. "We've left Wisconsin and we should be home around 5:3pm"Brett says. "We'll let you know where we'll be when you message us"Gabby said. "Speak soon Gabby and tell Louie that his Aunt Brett and Uncle Antonio are on their way home with his cousins Eva and Diego"Brett says. "Will do"Gabby said.
As Brett and Gabby finish talking to each other Lance and Lorna are realising the reality of life now. "The house has gone very quiet now"Lorna says. "This is what our lives are now"Lance says. "Everyone is getting back to their everyday lives"Lorna says. "I'm going to my office I'll be on my computer"Lance says. "I'll come and get you once tea is cooked"Lorna says. "Thanks my love"Lance says. As Lance goes to his office Lorna goes to the kitchen to make some Apple Pies to try to take her mind off the house being soo quiet. "Let's make some Apple Pies"Lorna said as she was getting everything out to cook the puddings before moving onto the mains.
Back over at the hospital Mr Abrahams have left his clients after Christie and Sean signed the documents of Jim's business saying that Violet will take over it when she becomes a teenager. "Glad thats done"Jim says. "What does Keri Hathaway say all about this Jim"Christie asks. "She doesn't know anything of what I'm going through"Jim says. "Will she working there til Violet takes over it"Sean asks. "I wasn't going to tell her at all"Jim says. "Jim Keri deserves to know the truth"Christie says. "Keri and I have been a bit distant for the last few months"Jim says. "You need to get her out of the business before you die"Sean says. "She doesn't know that I'm ill"Jim says. "Thanks"Jim says as down the corridor in the ward where Louie is in Gabby finished breastfeeding Andrea and she's got a clean diaper on and she's fast asleep back in her car seat as Doctor Simmonds arrives at the room as its time for Louie's physiotherapy session. "Hello everyone hows my favourite patient doing"Doctor Simmons says. "We're all good thanks"Matt says. "We're just wondering when Louie will be getting discharged"Gabby asks.
"We're hoping in a couple of days as long as Louie keeps on doing all of his exercises"Doctor Simmonds says. "Thanks doctor"Gabby and Matt both say. "Louie it's time for you to do your physiotherapy"Simmonds says. "Yea I'm ready"Louie said. "Let's show your family what you can do so far"Simmonds says. "Yes"Louie said. As Louie moves his legs round top the side of the bed he grabs his crutches and with the help of his crutches and with the help of them he moves forward and off the bed he walks over to Doctor Simmonds who's his physio session as Gabby Matt Cindy and Violet are watching on.
As Louie Casey is doing his physiotherapy in front of everyone Jim has fallen asleep as the doctors have put him on a drip as he's suffering with a fever. "Matt and Gabby will be back later to collect Jim"Sean says as Nancy is now awake to find out whats been happening. "Can someone please tell me what I've missed while I've been asleep"Nancy asks. "What do you want to know exactly mum"Christie said. "Everything please"Nancy asks. As seam and Christie prepares themselves to tell Nancy Doctor Will Halstead walks in the room to talk to Nancy about where she'll be living once getting discharged from here.
