𝙄𝗧'𝗗 now been a whole month since anastasia broke up with jaylen, and if she said she'd cut him off completely she'd be lying. their were so many reasons for their on and off situation but if anyone asked they couldn't tell you.

in all reality, anastasia liked the feeling she got at the beginning of their relationship but she didn't want to trust anyone ever again. she didn't know of his cheating when they first got together and at the time probably wouldn't care if she did because he always came back to her in the end.

then their came the time when she'd almost caught him. he told her it wasn't true and was all a misunderstanding, and she believed it. anastasia put her guard back up and refused to let it down ever again.

nika was also still dealing with jaylen. she felt as if she wasn't good enough for anyone else- wise words from him. he was the first and only person she was vulnerable with. she let him see the least confident part of her.

jaylen swore he loved every insecurity and scar on the girl just to sleep with people who were the exact opposite. something in her felt like if she stayed longer something would change, but what was supposed to be "longer" ended in a short two months.

jaylen simply enjoyed the chase. he felt untouchable in a way, knowing nika and anastasia at one point were clueless. the last thing he expected was for the two of them to break up with him on the same day.

he was the clueless one. thinking the girls wouldn't notice how he'd constantly come to their dorms with red lipstick stains on his shirt- a shade that fit neither of them- or smell like faint perfume most of the time.

yet they stayed. he wouldn't do that. but he would. time and time again.
